“I love Thai food! This place has lots of options in their menu. I always order pad see ewe. My first impression is it is not appetizing sine the noodles are nit the usual thicker noodles. The noodles are thinner and seems less soy sauce. But when I tried it, I cant stop eating. It is very tasty, just the right flavor. They put a lot of meat and veggies. You can order lunch portion or dinner portion so that’s a plus depending how hungry you are. The Tom Yum is so yummy as well. Not too sour and the medium spiciness is perfect for my taste buds. The lady who served us is really nice and welcoming. Parking could be a problem since it could only accomodate 4.“
“This cozy little restaurant tucked away on a cobblestone street in downtown Albany makes my ?sing. The food is always on point, my favorite it the Tom Ka Chicken soup made with coconut milk.The wait staff needs some training, and they are slow as molasses in February, we just know that going in.“
“Just had lunch but I have eaten a lot of Thai food, including in Bangkok and the food I had here was delicious. Note that they accurately matched the heat level unlike other places where you ask for medium and there’s not spice at all (Thai food should be a little spicy at least in my opinion) - I’d highly recommend this place if you want tasty Thai food“
“we love tengu asian bistro! it's our favorite place for sushi! especially today...I think we received the best grab Rangoon ever!! idk what is different about it, but it almost tastes like there's a coconut flavor in them as well as the dipping sauce. they were great to begin with, but whatever was done differently today was even better, keep doing it!“
“My husband and I have been coming here since we moved to Albany in 2017. During COVID and a little after I noticed an increase in food prices and a decrease in quantity and quality but we love it so much that we had to try it again. Most recently the food was back to the large portions and delicious dishes that make this place a staple on Lark st. The dine in service is a little slow because it's usually only 1 person doing both take out and the dining room but the food comes out fast so if you're with good company or just trying to have a nice meal alone, you won't really notice until you need something. I like the new bubble tea additions to the menu. Everything we had last time including the dessert was phenomenal! Definitely give it a try if you're in the area.“

“Very fresh ingredients! Server was very nice! Lots of cilantro stems....had to pick those off but the cilantro leaves were delicious. Next time I'll do the cilantro in the side! The salad dressing is fresh and tasty. The soup was my fav item....I'd come back for just this! Heads up mamas.....no kid menu though! I do recommend this place! 5 stars“
“Food is good depending on what you get. Fresh, crisp veggies. Rubbery, chewy squid. The back corner seat is cursed with a terrible reberation of sound. Cute appetizer display. No cocktails. Smaller portions than I'm used to. Good on flavor and spice.“

“This is my favorite spot for Japanese food in or around Albany. The fish is always fresh and reasonably priced. I have to stop myself from ordering here every week. “I've ordered from Tamarind Thai numerous times and love how they are consistent! I've eaten red curry and pad Thai - both excellent options. I've eaten pad Thai from other establishments and Tamarind Thai, hands down, has the best Pad Thai. “This is an amazing gem in Delmar! We have high expectations of Thai food and this exceeds all of them and more! My favorite dishes are the yellow curry with chicken and extra veggies, the pho is very good, and my hubby gets the salmon dish. We have eaten in but love doing takeout. The last several visits they don't take drink orders, don't check in after delivering the food, and take longer to bring the check than it takes to make and eat the food.“

When I tell you that every single dish we ordered was packed with layers of flavors and we physically couldn’t hold ourselves back from “just one more bite”, I am not exaggerating. I have enjoyed so many variations of Tom Kha up and down the East Coast, and in PDX but none come close to the deliciousness that we had tonight. “I am not a Chinese food person. However, I actually enjoy this restaurant. So far, I have tried the house fried rice, house noodles, orange chicken, curry chicken, chicken Satay and crab rangoon. I actually think crab rangoon was tasty and crunchy. It has authentic flavor. I thought the curry chicken was flavorful and not heavy. I say my fave so far is the house noodles. It has all beef, chicken and seafood. I also want to mention, the portions are huge and the price is reasonable. I have only had take outs but I will be a repeat customer. I would recommend as Chinese food go, there is above average.“
