My family has catered from Nyota on at least 5 occasions and I can tell you first hand you can’t go wrong! Each time our food has been Amazing and incredible experience. I always tell my wife not to invite too many people because I always have visions of the next days leftovers and truly look forward to eating and smiling in peace and quiet. My Birthday was the 22nd of December and our food was outstanding and couldn’t have possibly been any better. I absolutely

What a great little find. Just picked up lunch to go. I went for the Jerk Chicken, and as Steve N said, the owner mentioned it is spicy as I was leaving.. This has to be the most flavorful jerk chicken I have had in the area, and yes it is spicy. I will return to cry other items on the menu and wish the crew best of luck in their relatively new location.

"A spicy story." If you warn me something is spicy I will scoff at you. Rarely am I impressed with most's definition of spicy, especially here in Albany, a city full of good people but with timid palates. A city where most "hot" wings (for example) are as hot as an ice cube at the North Pole. Here's the exchange between me and the woman behind the counter as I entered Trinbago: Me: What's good? She: Do you like spicy food? Me: Yes. She: You'll love my j*** chicken. Me: Ok. I'll take it. After a few minutes, my food is ready, and as she hands it to me she warns me, "It's very spicy!" I then assure her I like very spicy food, and will enjoy it. On the two-minute ride home (I live just around the corner but was too lazy to walk) I'm prepared to be disappointed the j*** chicken is not spicy enough for me. I've eaten too many supposedly spicy dishes that were not spicy. I get home and take a bite. I wait, as it always takes a moment for the heat to build (if there is any). Damn! This is spicy! Oh crap, it's really spicy! My nose starts to run, I sniffle between bites. My wife insists I stop shoving food into my face and grab a tissue. I ignore her as I revel in the j*** chicken's spicy goodness. The moral of the story: if you love spicy food, get the j*** chicken at Trinbago. And be sure to have some tissues handy. (By the way, the bone-in dark meat chicken was fall-off-the-bone tender and the j*** sauce not only spicy but also flavorful.)
