I picked up decorated cookies for my bridal shower in May- they were absolutely stunning, I mean, the sight of actual perfection...every flower perfect and in its place even better than I imagined when I ordered and tasted so good. We saw a Raspberry linzer tart in the display case while waiting and decided to bring one to family dinner.

We are so impressed with Zachary’s! I had ordered a cake for my 3 year old’s birthday and the baker cancelled last minute. Zachary’s offered to step up and make a baby shark cake happen for my daughter’s birthday in just 3 days! It was moist and delicious, and most importantly made our sweet girl smile!

The best chocolate chips cookies in and around the capital district. They are so good they sell out daily. If you call the day before they will hold them for you. I always look forward to my bag of cookies. Good staff and delicious desserts.

I dropped the ball on finding a chocolate cream pie for Thanksgiving... called the day before (to a friendly staff) after a friend recommended and found out they were available. This pie was phenomenal! 2 thumbs up across the board, even from our extremely picky teenager! You have a new customer for sure!

We recently had them supply the cupcakes for our wedding, and it was absolutely perfect! They lasted outdoors from the moment they arrived until we cut the cake, and were moist and delicious. Everyone raved about them, so I would definitely recommend!!
I had them make the graduation cake and cupcakes for my daughter’s party. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend the yellow cake with raspberry filing and buttercream frosting.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Pathetic customer service and pathetic bakery- what a waste of HUNDREDS of dollars. Made false promises and did not even compensate. Save yourself and your wallet the headache and heartache and buy from a different bakery.

I'm rating based on customer service and if I could give less than one star I would. Drove 8 hours from VA to visit family that was throwing me a party. Ordered a 2 tier cake for college graduation- cake was ruined in transportation, fine, not their fault, packaged in their usual too large of a box, whatever. But when I called to let them know the cake was destroyed and slammed against the side of the box they told me they would fix it and to bring it in. We got excited and rushed over just to be told "we didn't know it was this bad". They should have asked for a picture. Asked to see it in person. Before telling us it would still be good for our party. Didn't even apologize. Didn't even try to smooth out the icing. They just separated the tiers and took off the graduating cap decor that I wanted inside the box. Pissed. Terrible customer service. Don't order anything here. They "don't have any guarantees" after making one to me to fix my cake.

Very impressed! I ordered two cakes from Zachary's last week, a chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream frosting and a chocolate cake with raspberry buttercream frosting. They are by far the highest quality cakes I have found in the capital region. The workmanship from filling to frosting is outstanding. The cake itself is dense and moist with a delicate crumb. The buttercream is truly delicious, not overly sweet, not gritty, just smooth, creamy, and flavorful. The frosting holds up well too! It hasn't melted or sagged in the slightest over the last 3 days, even with taking it in and out of the refrigerator. Reasonably priced, ordered on short notice (2 days). Zachary's cakes are of the highest order!!
