“Stopped by with fifteen kids!A lot of the students have been asking me for a couple years now to stop.After getting approval from my boss, the school principal, and the parents, we finally stopped before the last day of school to enjoy some McDonald's food.The students behaved very well this school year, and this little “field trip” was well deserved.I placed our oder beforehand, and soon after we arrived, the food was brought out to the bus.A big thanks to the Alden McDonald's manager and crew for going above and beyond for us.They even wrote their names on the bags, and the order was correct.The students had a great time!Thank you,Mr. Mark, the bus driver.“
“Wow. My coworker knew about my love of French onion soup and insisted I make the trek from the north towns to this place. I can say, there wasn’t much reason for our family to travel to East Aurora after one of fav kids museums moved, but now I have a reason to make the haul! We stopped by here after taking our kid’s to a gym in the area and I’m glad we did. I’d say that this might be my favorite French onion soup on the basis of the rich flavors alone. My wife and I went back and forth comparing it to our number one. I felt this is a little less cheesy than my typical favorite (or maybe it was slightly more cooked than I’m used to) but the flavor of the broth and ingredients are the best. We weren’t ready for dinner so we just ordered the soups and got fries for the kids. My daughter was raving about the fries and the service. She kept saying “we have to come back.” I agree!“
“We traveled from Maryland to East Aurora to pick up a snowmobile. We arrived early so we found The Poked Yolk. We waited in the parking lot because of traveling arriving before they opened. The whole experience couldn’t have been any better. The host (owner) was super and the food (Lumberjack & almond cranberry pancakes) were probably the best we ever had. “Took my family here for late night ice cream. Ordered up and my oldest daughter drops her ice cream two minutes after getting it . Well the ladys asked what happened and gladly gave our daughter free ice cream .very nice of them ? .Kid-friendliness: Replaced my daughter's ice cream she dropped free of charge .“
“Nice course for the price. Staff was friendly and working hard to manage everything with the COVID restrictions.One star was deducted for course maintenance. We played the White Course yesterday, and some of the tee boxes were not level. The fairways were slightly long, and there were a few times we were unable to find a golf ball that should’ve been easily located either in the fairway or rough. There also were no markings anywhere to help gauge distance. Bring a rangefinder or smartphone app.“
“Had my sons birthday party at Alden Lanes today. I will defiantly hold another party there again. Dan was easy to work with very accommodating and very reasonable pricing. My guests and I had a wonderful time. The pizza was delicious and the facility was clean and we had plenty of room. So glad that we have this place here in Alden.“
