“We were there for a private party. The hosts are so welcoming and nice to chat with! At the last minute they baked a GF pizza for me. I washed it down with their homemade Cabernet Sauvignon. Delicious! The locale is gorgeous with an open terrace that views a small lake and rolling lawn. Since they serve Vegan food we'll go back with family!”

“We were traveling through on rt.86 and I found Maddie J's to try. I am so glad we did! my husband got the seafood omelet special which he loved! He loved the home fries as well! He said top 5 breakfasts spots in his life! I got the cinnamon bun French toast special, and that was amazing as well! friendly staff and worked as a team! well done!”

Try the grilled fish, if it's a Friday night - outstanding!Dietary restrictions: The wings are dusted in corn flour, so should be ok for those who are gluten sensitive. They're my favorite around, especially the PBJ wings (give them a tey- surprisingly delicious!)❤️”

“Never disappoints! Fresh iced coffee with my favorite flavors and breakfast sandwiches are delicious! I’ve tried a few of the other foods they have and they are really good also! Pickle fries are out of this world and the MT Mama drinks are pretty yummy too! My husband loves the strawberry banana smoothies! The staff are always pleasant and the environment is very welcoming! Would recommend this little gem to anyone!”

If you have a special request, it can't be taken in the yelp app. Our anchovies were on the pizza, not on the side as I wrote in the additional comments, on the app. The pizza is very good, but my non-anchovy eating family wouldn't go near the pizza. Please don't get rid of anchovies!!!!!”

“Get off the beaten path and get glass of their blueberry pie cider. Live guitar music greeted us as we entered a rustic atmosphere and the guy had a voice on him! “We had been there a couple tines when they first opened . This experience was even better !!!! I had the brisket tacos . Oh my ... they were fantastic! It had this incredible dipping sauce. My boyfriend had the 3 tacos .. you could choose between like 5 different meats . He loved it . Although I think he may have been a little jealous..haha I did give him. One of mi e . It was spectacular”

“Usually would give them 5 stars but the chicken was over cooked and very dry. Macaroni salad was very good. Always bring cash, they have dial up for the credit card machine and it hardly ever works.”

You can do an "around the world" tour for beer and whiskey. Mug night and well drinks cater to college crowds; a great watering hole for adults until about 9:30/10:00pm (then college students come in)Staff is friendly, local. They recognize regulars. Pub grub available. A must stop if you're visiting Alfred!”
