Went here for an anniversary and had the best time! Everything was amazing! We had the Chef's Mezze Experience and it was definitely worth it because of the great food and variety of Greek dishes! We went for dinner on a warmer night in March and sat in their covered outdoor area. The ambiance made us feel like we were having dinner on a warm greek summer. They had olive trees and white tables which made it feel nice and bright. It requires at least 2 people to participate and it was definitely more than enough food to make the both of us full! We started with a greek salad, 5 spreads and some beets and olives. The pita was soft and warm and our favorite dip was the whipped feta with red peppers, but this experience allowed m to try things like a salted and cured roe dip which I surprisingly enjoyed. We then had multiple dishes consisting of fries, grilled octopus, different sausages, and hen. The grilled octopus and hen was perfectly cooked and our favorites. The drinks are also really good and I appreciate their large variety of greek wines along with multiple organic choices. The service here is also really amazing. They are helpful through the menu if you are not familiar with all of the dishes. They realized we were celebrating something provided us shots of ouzo on the house. A really nice, unexpected surprise. Absolutely coming back to try their brunch on a sunny day!

I have been a customer at Aliada for over 20 years. The owner Louis is absolutely amazing and will always go above and beyond for customer satisfaction. The food is always fresh and the chefs are amazing. This is quality Greek & Cypriot cuisine. I don't think anywhere else can match the same quality, hospitality, and overall ambiance. When you get into the restaurant it is like you have stepped through a portal and stepped into Greece or Cyprus. I love their seafood selections, their calamari and octopus is to die for. Love the secret menu too, something you guys should definitely inquire about. There is a handful of items not on the menu. Such as my personal favorite. The Aliada burger!

Amazing food and friendly staff. I had a small group come here for my birthday and had a wonderful time. We had to wait a little for our table to be ready but it was 100% worth the wait. I can’t wait to come back.

Waited 20 minutes after reservation time to be sat outside on the sidewalk in an enclosed space, where the heat lamps don’t do much to keep your feet warm. Was immediately rushed into ordering several times by the waiter. Food is decent but you can get the same quality elsewhere in Astoria for a similar price and have it been on time and not on the street.
You know you've picked the right Greek restaurant when you look around and realize everyone is speaking Greek! Aliada is the perfect spot for great Greek food and really good service. We went on a Sunday evening without reservation and thankfully didn't have to wait long, but given how popular they are a reservation is recommended. I got branzino which was fresh and perfectly cooked without being too oily. And they give you an option to choose between two sizes of fish, and 600g is perfect for one or even for sharing between two. I'm not the biggest fan of "market price" pricing, so it was a plus that Aliada's menu has everything specified. The vibe of the restaurant is lively and fun, great for large family gatherings as well as dates.

The true "when you're here you're family." They gave us complimentary feta and olives and were very accommodating with an infant! The only downside is that the patio heaters do not sufficiently heat up the area. Even with our parkas on it was cold, and we opted to sit outdoors so the bebe wouldn't disrupt indoor guests.Vegetarian options: Most Greek food is vegetarian except for the "large plates." We only ordered small plates and had plenty to eat.Kid-friendliness: There was a family birthday celebration and our infant, they were very accommodating and friendly. Other places often make children feel like an unwelcome burden/nuisance, not these folks!!

It’s an authentic one. Been to Greece and Cyprus a couple of times - and this is exactly the type of place & food you can expect there. A bit pricey though, but a flight to Larnaca is no cheaper!
