They are trying to avoid the bathroom city requirement. Won't go there again . I was embarrassed for this guy . How she was ignoring basic needs of washing one's hands prior to eating food . Don't go here . Like many of the other posts said the owner is nasty nasty nasty rude . She Doesn't deserve your money . And the food has no taste . Stay away .

The food is good but the old lady that takes the orders is not nice. She rushes you to order, then gets the order wrong and forgets stuff that you ordered. Then when you tell her, her answer is always "well I didn't charge you". She has messed up the business and I will no longer order while she is there.

I have had no problems with Eastern Chinese Restaurant. They are consistently reliable and good. I don't understand the bad reviews or even if they are real. Eastern Chinese restaurant is in Astoria, Queens and most of the negative reviews are from Jersey City, Flushing and even Massachusetts! It's no wonder the orders took over an hour to deliver! LOL. All bullshit complaints.

It was one of the worst meals I had by far. My food was undercooked. The delivery (spainsh driver) was extremely rude and disrespectful. He didn't want to come to my door even though we explained to him that my mother's foot just had surgery. Thank God for my neighbors that went down to get the food. Then he demands tip every time. What would of happened if my mother slipped and fell just to get the food. Would the driver pay for my mother's medical bill? Or Would the Chinese food pay for it because it is their driver.

I ordered sweet and sour chicken combo and they didn't send the sweet and sour sauce. I called and told them and now I have been waiting over an hour. Their excuse was we are very busy.Their customer service skills is horrible. I won't be ordering from them any more.

Last night I stopped by and ordered a BBQ combo that comes with an egg roll to go. When I got home I noticed the egg roll was missing, even though I asked the counter lady if the BBQ Ribs combo included an egg roll, and she said loud and clear YES. The next day I stopped by and ordered a small white rice and also took the opportunity to tell the employee in turn about the missing egg roll. To my surprise, he looked at me as I was lying, and ignored me. Then I asked him again if I could please get the egg roll or be refunded, and he said NO.I walked out and I will never come back to this place again.The sanitation B letter on their window, and their horrible and cocky attitude should've warned me from not ordering from them again.

I was craving Chinese food and wanted to try a different restaurant. So, I ordered from this place... and I wish I hadn't.After waiting for over an hour and a half, I called to ask where my order was. They claimed that their driver couldn't find parking and so they just came back to the restaurant... and they never thought to call me to tell me about it.A driver not being able to find parking and not calling to ask me to come downstairs is not something I should be at fault for. Yet, the restaurant refused to cancel/refund my order. So, I had to pay for food that I didn't even get to eat.So, this rating is purely based on customer service as I never had the chance to actually try the food... but if the food is as bad as their customer service, then I don't want to try it anyways.

I ordered sesame chicken combo with fried wings. The sesame chicken taste like burning chicken glazed with sweet sauce and it taste terrible! I won’t go back there again!

I bought shrimp with broccoli and the brown sauce was too salty. I called them out on that before and still the same. They are very rude when you call on the phone and rush you. I ordered a house special fried and noticed the rice is too greasy. Also their chicken wings is weird they are not fresh. The health department needs to be called on these people. Not worth it there are better options!
