I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! FIRST, BE CAREFUL, YOU WILL BE CHEATED FOR YOUR MONEY. (MY WIFE MADE AN ORDER I HAD TO PICK IT UP) BEFORE THIS I FOUND OUT IF CARDS ACCEPTED THE ANSWERED YES. THE ORDER WAS $56. I CAME TO PICK UP AN ORDER AND THEY DID NOT EVEN START COOKING IT! GAVE HIM THE CARD DID NOT ASK AGAIN HOW MUCH IT COST. DID NOT GIVE HIM A RECEIPT. I LOOKED AT THE BANK ACCOUNT AND WAS SHOCKED!!! $75.87! CAME BACK TO FIND OUT WHERE THE PRICE CAME FROM ALMOST TWICE MORE. THE SCAM STARTED TO COME UP WITH 56 PLUS $10 FOR PAYING WITH A CARD AND NOT CASH AND PLUS ANOTHER $11 TAX! BESIDES THAT THE FOOD WAS DISGUSTING. SHASHLIK LIKE A STONE BURNED SALAD IS ALSO VERY CHEAPLY MADE. YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD ANY GREEK CUISINE HERE.

Franky’s is hands down the best souvlaki in Astoria, been going to him for years, even when he had the cart, glad to see he did well enough for the truck. The bummer is I moved to PA and have been going through withdrawals ever since!
According to my friend who lives here, Greek is the way to go when you're in astoria. So we ordered some gyros and other delicious bites from Frankys and I was not disappointed. I got the beef suvlaki plate and omg the meat was so flavorful and freshly grilled you could still taste the smoke from the fire. The white sauce was great and veggies were fresh. I'd definitely make this spot a regular stop if I lived here

Best souvlaki sticks east side of the Mississippi River. Frankie does a great job ensuring that everyone is promptly taken care of in an efficient fashion. Him and his workers are extremely polite. Food is ALWAYS fresh and very reasonably priced. My family and I have been coming here since the early 90s when his dad was running it out of a cart. There's a reason they've expanded their business the way they have! Highly, highly recommend for anyone and for any occasion!

Warning be carful if you pay with your bank card, he will charge you extra fees. I only order fries with chicken since they didn’t have rice, I ask for the price he said is 15$ , it was already too much but I was hungry, so I ordered. After I got home with the food I got notification for my bank account it say he charge me 20$ ,

My go to Souvlaki truck and favorite one as well! Best in Astoria Queens! Always ask for more hero bread..you can never have enough bread!! Rain, snow or sleet this place is always a great place to have a quick bite and has great customer service! They’re also located in different parts of Queens so that also comes in handy!
This place is pretty expensive. The chicken platter was not great, nowhere near enough salad. The fries are very tasty to be fair, I would go back for those but probably not their other stuff. On balance, I'm a little suspicious of the rave reviews for what seems like mediocre, slightly over priced food.

Food here is always good clean and delicious. It is on a busy corner so you get to watch the shoppers go by while eating your meal at a couple of tables provided. Most New Yorkers know this old spot has been here for a long while. hope they are here forever.
Super nice guy taking orders, prices are fair for quality and portion and the people working there are quick to prepare your food. There is always people here which is a good sign for fresh food.
