The customer service is horrible and they are very rude. The pizza is not even that good I do not recommend. There are better pizza shops around.

Ordered this pizza from the too good to go app (i know not the best sample size). The guy was kind of rude and the pizza wasn't the best I've had in Astoria. Also if you plan on ordering from them on the too good to go app, they were skimpy compared to other pizzerias. The front girl said to pick any 3 slices, (I guess that's usually the case) but the guy abruptly said no only two. Wasn't terrible pizza but many other places nearby that I've enjoyed more.

I personally know the family that runs this establishment and I always feel like family walking in. Their cheese slices are always on point and they repainted the interior a few months ago. Definitely a nice spot.Vegetarian options: I’ve had the mushroom, black olive, and vegetable slices, and they’re all delicious.
Mela is located in a perfect location of Astoria. They have a great selection of options that are very tempting. I went in for a slice one day, and continued coming back thereafter. The service is always A++. The best part is they will deliver to you.Kid-friendliness: You can bring your children to enjoy the pizza.

The margarita pizza. This pizza was so good and fresh, and a pretty big slice! I enjoyed it very much and it was my first time here. I am from Brooklyn and this pizza was delicious! I will be back here for more food as my appointments are nearby! Such a great find and the vibe is so great. The service was top notch as well!
Mela pizza is a charming corner stop, manned by one of the friendliest staff I've had the pleasure of interacting with in recent memory. I opted for the hero sandwich, although they also served pizzas (as they're known for) and calzones. I overall had a nice experience, and would definitely stop by again when I'm in the neighborhood. It's decent food, at a decent price.
