Like to judge a place by their regular slice. This place is more than solid. While im more of a sauce person, it’s still a very delicious slice. the crust and bottom of the pizza is flavorful and very crispy. This is quite noticeable after they reheat the slices. It’s the kind of place that’s generous on the cheese. If i ordered a pie I’d say get extra sauce and it would be damn satisfying for any pizza craving.

Worst pizza I ever had, dough is burnt and chewy taste, cheese was falling off and sauce was basically water thin and just pouring off the slice. If you want soup then this is the place to go if you want pizza go somewhere else.

It was terrible, I paid 32 dollars for something that I couldn't even consume, they carry things as if they are the ones who are going to eat it and not you.

Small place to get takeout, friendly staff and the water is good. However the pizza was inedible and very greasy.

Ate here today for lunch by myself during my lunch break while working full time and across the street as a teacher assistant at The 30th Avenue School (Q300). I had brought and ate the margherita pizza with a can of soda. It was great and delicious. The service there was also super fast, quick and attentive that I didn't feel rushed about what to choose a pizza to try for the first time. I couldn't agree more. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time! :)

got the chorizo and lengua tacos per robert sistema's recommendation. the chorizo is legitimately better than most LA taco spots that tend to idly overcook the sausage on their grills. these are made to order and the edges of the tortillas are lightly crispy which brings them to life. the lengua had an extra charge (not listed on menu but explained by cashier), and i wouldn't get them in a taco, but i wouldn't mind trying them in a quesadilla next time.

I stumbled upon this place when I had a doctor's appointment, and even decided to return a few days later when I was in the area. I can almost taste the food by looking at the pictures that I'm uploading and talking about it here. They do make some good slices and a variety of them mind you. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I had misplaced my keys somewhere and although they didn't find them, they were nice enough to take down my information in case they showed up(they btw, but not at Salerno's). If you're in the area you should definitely drop by for this food at a good price. And it looks like they got plenty of room for dining in the back area.

$7.50 for two plain slices and a can of soda? A rare and GREATLY appreciated thing. And there is no cost in quality for that pricing. It's a classic NY slice. Not thin, and fair amount of cheese and sauce.Excellent choice for an inexpensive lunch.

Amazing food and amazing service. Celebrated my daughter's 6th birthday there and definitely one of the best places I've celebrated her birthday in so far. The staff is very polite and professional. I go there often to have a slice or something else to eat.

Pizza is mediocre at best. Americanized, low quality Mexican food. There is really no reason to go here. You can find better pizza one block west and better Mexican food across the street. Owner/pizza guy in the baseball hat makes sexual gestures at women that walk past this restaurant as he stares out of his little troll window. Avoid this weird place. It's a trap for non locals who are going to the hospital. Yes there is some personal resentment in this review, but the food is absolutely mostly garbage. Chicken parm is decent for the price when it's still hot before you can recognize what you just did to yourself.

Apparently they do a lot of different food - I got only their pizza a few times.Good price for good pizza.
