The restaurant has a nice decor. The staff are friendly. We went there for a beer and a quick bite. I got the tuna tacos, and my wife got the carnitas tacos. The tuna tacos were good, but I wish they were larger. The carnitas tacos were not good, and the meat was dry and with no seasoning.

Wow! this could possibly be the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. The flavors are incredibly delicious. Very cute place with good service.

We liked the food, but if you are vegetarian they have just a few options. We had the Budha bowl, a very simple dish but good flavors. The tuna tacos in a crispy shell were also good and tasted fresh.

So I've been dying to come to this place, but it let me down in so many ways. The service was okay. The person came to us once and didn't really check on us at all. I ordered the Mac and cheese. Worst decision ever. I got it with bbq chicken and there was no flavor in the noodles whatsoever. It's like they didn't season their food at all. It was very bland. My friends ordered the breakfast burrito and chicken and waffles and didn't have anything good to say either. The breakfast burrito also didn't have flavor. This place may only be good for the drinks. I had the rum punch and it was great.

Good drinks, really mediocre food and horrible service. Extremely understaffed and the waitstaff was inattentive and inexperienced. Half of our order never came and after asking to take it off the bill we were still handed a check with the missing items on it. Wait staff was too busy flirting with 1 table to actually attend to the rest of the tables. Would come here for a drink again and sit at the bar but otherwise would not recommend at all. Needs better management. Overpriced considering how bad the service was.

Located on a bustling street in Astoria. Staff was super friendly and nice to chat with. Super quick service especially when it came to filling up our mango mimosas. Food was filling and delicious. Great fusion for brunch options

My partner and I like to sit outside and it’s always a lovely experience. The service is fantastic and the food is delicious. Very creative and tasty drinks. The Caesar is really good as is spam musubi.

I went here for a girl's brunch that ended up turning into bottomless brunch! I was super excited for this spot because the decor looked really cute and the food menu looked delicious. It did not disappoint! The vibes are really chill and there are some great IG spots for nice summer photos. Our waitress was an absolute delight and recommended her favorite dishes to us. The food was so good! We split the Crispy Spam Musubi and I had the Hawaiian Omelette Fried Rice as my entree. The food is island-inspired and uses Spam in almost all the dishes. I was a bit hesitant at first because of how Spam-inspired the dishes are but they all tasted delicious! The Musubi was interesting because they made it more like sushi than traditional Japanese musubi but it tasted amazing! We ended up doing bottomless because why not? It's about 90 minutes of drink after drink. Although I stuck mainly to the Rum Punch, which I loved, I also gave the Mango Mimosa a shot and it wasn't too bad. I definitely recommend the Rum Punch! We also decided to give their regular drinks menu a try and I had We Sail Tonight for Singapore, which was amazing and came in the absolute coolest fish mouth glass! It was super refreshing and I loved the flavor combinations. My friend had Pin-up Girl, which she enjoyed. Overall, this is a gem with amazing decor, delicious food and great drinks! I highly recommend if you're looking for a nice brunch spot or looking for food in the area. I know I'll definitely be back!!

Was really pleased with the accommodations that the staff is always willing to make to attend to my food needs. Their guac is yum. They allowed me to switch to veggies instead of chips for dipping and made me a bloody Mary even though it is not on their menu other than for brunch. I loved it so much that I returned for brunch. Had the niçoise without potatoes or dressing, and it slapped. My partner had the crabs cakes Benedict and was super pleased. They even made him a virgin cocktail that was not on the menu, and they made a virgin Mary for my friend. The staff is so kind and attentive. Chef kiss! Definitely worth a trip from Brooklyn!

What a great spot! A friend moved to Astoria a while back & I hadn't been out to visit her so I drove in & luckily found a spot right in front! (Heads up - you're gonna wanna download the parking app that you see featured on the booths - many of them don't work & just want you to use the app)Place had a great vibe & we were able to get a high top table right away - actually made a rez right here on yelp, so it was so easy! They hit the theme right on the head without being too kitschy. Good and drinks were stellar and our waiter was so fun and lively. Made great suggestions & before we knew it, we were there for over 2 hours. Would absolutely go back!

Cute, busy and kitschy as every tiki bar should be. The most vital part to note is the Highwater's cocktails are damn good, in my opinion. I had a delightful drink with a base of fennel infused mezcal that sent me straight on the stairway to heaven! After drinking the "F*ck, we need a mezcal drink" I seemed to understand it's title. There are other mezcal drinks but this one had me smitten. Another in my cozy circle opted for "The Cereal Killer" which featured clarified milk and some other ingredients/techniques which sounded intriguing. We were all a little surprised to see actual bits of cereal in the drink when it arrived. My company was not a huge fan but drank it anyhow. I didn't try the cereal drink but it looked like it had potential. Wednesdays are Wing Wednesdays, with a $1 per wing special. I found this out online after the fact as our server failed to mention it while we were onsite. Feel free to ask lots of questions regarding any specials or customizations you prefer. I think this place would be nice for a group and has an overall relaxed atmosphere. I would return if in the area to see what a full experience would flow. PS: Bathrooms could be cleaner.
