Honestly, we love this place. Not only do they offer a HUGE selection of gluten free and vegan dishes, their non-GF options are great. Weird to say it, but they have the best eggplant parm! Not sure how an Australian restaurant has won that award (in my life at least) but when it is on the menu, I regularly order it to share with family and friends.... None have been disappointed. I remember my first time there, when I had the chance to try the vegan key lime pie they had at the time (not something I'd order but was ordered for the table at a friend's birthday party), it was insanely good! There have definitely been a few times I've ordered out from them and been a bit disappointed. Most recently there seems to have been a change to their vodka pasta dish and they've removed the eggplant parm, but... if you're in the area looking for a spot, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. Occasional live music there is also usually provided by really talented groups. Well done Thirsty Koala, well done.Dietary restrictions: Almost their entire menu can be gluten free, many options are vegan.

The Gingeroo for Brunch was absolutely delicious! Went on Sunday and they were very packed! The Ned Kelly and the Brekkie Sanga had a great taste and value especially on the price ! Would love to go again Saturday!

Had a wonderful meal with a group of friends here. The staff is very friendly and the food was quite tasty with a decent selection for everyone in our party.
The food was great, but I was shocked at the portion size for the lamb lollies. I have been looking forward to trying this place because of the gorgeous photos of the lamb. Our waiter warned us that they would not be chops, but rather tenderloin. We were given 3 bite size pieces for $24. I wish I took a picture. They were three delicious bites, but not worth $24. My husband enjoyed the steak sandwich and I had the barramundi. Both dishes were good. The mashed potatoes were a little dry. The live music was lovely.

I love this restaurant for brunch and dinner. They use fresh, quality, healthy ingredients. It's hard to find a good omelette or chicken that's not dry and Thirsty Koala consistently gets it right! Service is very friendly. I like the local, non-pretentious vibes. Kid friendly.
