An clean, authentic Irish Pub with real New York City chatacter and vibes! Super friendly and attentive Bartenders.Great selevtion of beverages including non-alchoholics.No smoking inside the pub.Rory, Nick, David, and all tge other staffers are very cool!The joy is getting back to pre-pandemic levels.

Came here the other night with a friend, was overall disappointment. Dude working behind the bar seemed to have an issue with us straight away, we knew that he had seen us come in as we nodded hello but still walked past us 2-3 times before we had to ask him for attention, while sitting center of the bar, then served us with a frown and hardly even looked at us as we ordered, very rude.. Long haired wanable hipster seemed too interested in chatting with his buddy at the end of the bar.Feels like they only wanted to serve / hang with their regulars who are their friends outside of work it seems like. Wont be back to what seemed like a chill bar to go to but staff make you feel unwelcome. Just miserable looking... Seems to be turning into a dive/punk bar also, not my scene.
Over all it was a good experience. They have some delicious beer. I can not speak too much about the food since I was there for a work invent and they had buffet style food for us. The bartenders were very friendly. Really good service.

Excellent place, I went to see my friends Blink 182 cover band and the place was popping - unfortunately the AC could not keep up and it was swampy but it worked out well for me as I listened from outside and still had great service and experience.

We were on Steinway looking for a bar to check out and our friends suggested The Wolfhound as they consider it the best bar in Astoria and honestly it checked all the boxes: perfect size, low key, super friendly, and good drinks. Even the nachos were really good. Best bar in Astoria!
