Came here for pearl jam night and it was great. The service is awesome and the owner Ricky greets you personally at the door. We had reservations and I definitely recommend doing the same. The place was packed on a Thursday. The food is top notch. I had the baked clams and wife had the deviled eggs. Both were great. I ordered the fish and chips for my main and it was insane. The platter comes out stacked high with plenty of chips and the fish had a crunch that will literally drown out all the noise around you. I haven't had fish and chips like this. They served it up with tartar sauce, ketchup and malt vinegar for the fries and a charred lemon. My wife had the blackened Mahi fish tacos. Came with a bowl of rice that was tasty.

Went to dinner with Easter bunny. Went to the same event a couple years ago and it was a nice time. This time they crammed as many tables possible with complete disregard to spaces needed between tables so people sitting on top of each other. Easter bunny was by the entrance because there was no room to walk around. Service was terrible, too many tables for each server. Water and drinks not refilled despite asking. Come to find they auto added 20% gratuity to the bill so checks out why it was so bad. Spent almost $300 for table of 4, not worth it at all. Also the room was hot and stuffy with so many kids and people crammed into a room. Not worth the price or the experience

Appetizers should be finished before the main course is served and the waitress shouldn't respond to me by telling me I was ALMOST finished. I don't appreciate being asked if I'd like my appetizer salad packed up to take home while it's still on my fork. I asked the waitress if she'd like to serve us dessert before we finished our main meal, to which she replied, of course not. It would be helpful if the server who took our order would bring the food to the table. It was loud, dark and impersonal. The bar needs to be stocked with higher quality liquor and complimentary bread would be a nice touch. By the way, a wedge salad with blue cheese shouldn't be served with watery iceberg, ranch dressing( I suppose they can't make bleu cheese dressing even though they serve bleu cheese- - - the rest is pretty straightforward. I like animals more than people sometimes but a dog in the restaurant that didn't have any indicators as being a service/support animal has no place in the restaurant indoors.

Beginnings always offers not only an excellent dining experience, but an interesting one. The food never disappoints and as a first time patron at one of its theme-nights (a murder mystery) it was loads of fun. The wait staff is amazingly efficient notwithstanding all of the diners and actors mingling about. Would definitely recommend.

This is the third time we have been to Beginnings. The first two times, it was excellent, so much so that my son requested that we go there for his birthday even though it’s about a 90-minute drive for us. We had a reservation for two weeks, and so it was disappointing that we were seated at the end of a shared high hat table, but okay. Our food was just okay, nothing special. I ordered a Greek salad with chicken. The grilled chicken was prepared perfectly, but the Greek salad itself was totally disappointing. Almost entirely lettuce, a few cherry tomatoes, some sliced olives, a few tiny pieces of onion, and a little feta. No grape leaves, and only one piece of cucumber, which was a hard, bitter end piece. For $17? I’ve gotten many better Greek salads at diners and delis for much less. Given how good their Greek appetizer platter was last time we ate at Beginnings, I thought the salad would be great, but it really lacked. I also had the duck bao bun appetizer. The kimchi was good, but the duck itself lacked flavor. Same with the duck in the deviled eggs. The service was good and the atmosphere was beautiful, as always, but if this had been our first visit, we’d probably not go back.
Really great food and an extensive menu with such a wide variety of incredible options here. We came as a group of 6 and ordered a few diff appetizers- the cornbread, the tuna tartare and the shrimp - and then I got a sushi roll and duck bao buns as my entree. Literally everything we ate (including the dessert - donuts for me!) was incredible. Great service, too!

Where do I beginning?! (lol) This restaurant has it all!! I've been going to Beginnings for years and it just keeps getting better. From their fun themed nights, to a gals night out, a family night out or a romantic dinner with my husband this place delivers every-time!! Their food, cocktails and ambiance are top notch!! They have something for everyone and everything is DELICIOUS. On top of that their staff go out of their way to make you feel special and taken care of. I cannot recommend this place enough!!!
