9:00 p.m. Saturday evening. Restaurant was 10% capacity.10 minutes standing and waiting for host to even acknowledge us.He takes us to a high table, we asked for a booth. Said he had to clean one.Left us standing there at the unwanted high table. He vanished, gone...not to be seen again. Shameful behavior!Don't bother supporting businesses who don't care if you are there or not or who act like they don't want you there. I'd leave Less than Zero Stars if I could.

The best Applebee's I have gone to. My gf and I had the steak. I had the garlic Parmsian with shrimp. She had the bourbon. They were cooked to ? perfection. The waitress was very attentive. And the atmosphere was cozy. I recommend coming here!

Absolutely the worst dinning experience we’ve had in a long time ! Almost 3 hrs it took to get and finish our meal, Ruined the whole birthday outing that we had for my husband. Not to mention the raw hamburger! I’m so sad our Waitress spent more time talking at the bar, and she did tending to her customers.

Watching or server, Michael, fluidly work his section was a truly nice experience. I tried the new tex mex shrimp bowl and was pleasantly surprised at the large quantity of shrimp. The bowl itself was artistically section style, plated. The whole experience, on a busy Friday night, changed prior feelings of disappointment. Thank you Michael and staff of Auburn 's Applebee's

Went out for a nice meal, started off being told 15 to 20 minute wait, with half of restaurant empty. Hostess/manager at door was not very attentive to people. When seated our waiter, Michael, was promptly there to serve us. Was very apologetic for wait. Boyfriend ordered steak and mashed potatoes, which was served as cold mashed potatoes and steak was ordered as medium well, came out well done. I ordered bacon cheeseburger with fries, fries were hot cheeseburger was cold and bacon burned. Also looked like it was cut in pieces. Kitchen manager should have had them make fresh, however you could tell it was microwaved instead. Burger was freshly remade. Waiter Michael came to check and was upset by them not serving promptly. When check came Michael again apologized for the service.As for waiter I highly recommend you ask for Michael. He's a very hard worker and managed to make us smile.

Stopped in at 4:00PM on a Monday, not busy at all. Couple of high tops were occupied in the Bar area and several patrons sitting at the bar. Several high tops available. I wanted to watch game so asked to sit at one of the empty high tops. Was told something about 'rotation' and that we needed to sit in a booth!!! I told them, No... I would like to sit at a high top. I was then told they was no bartender. I replied that we were there to eat so bartender was not an issue. Again, 'rotation', whatever that means. I finally said, high top or we go elsewhere..... Had a wonderful meal and outstanding service at Curly's , an Auburn, NY landmark. Thank you Applebees for getting us to where we should have gone in the first place!
