We stopped for lunch as we were between towns. So happy we did. The lunch special was a real bargain. Our server (Milton, don't be fooled by the name as he is from Italy) was most pleasant and helpful. He readily made accommodations to the mussels we ordered. My wife's salmon was very tasty as was my chicken Francese. The house wine was good which called for a second glass. it is hard to find good espresso, but you will find it here.
I had linguine with seafood, my husband had cavetelli. We both felt the meals lacked flavor. Best taste of the night was my side salad (ordered separately, not included with meal). We likely won’t return.

Good food, outside seating in good weather, popular informal dining. We sat outside at 5:30 pm since it was fairly noisy inside the cozy but very busy restaurant and bar (for a Monday). I had a thin crust cheese and sausage pizza and my friend had the veggie spaghetti dish. Large portions, so we both had leftovers. Only gripe was that though our waiter was genial and efficient, he seemed always in a rush, and indeed forgot about my companion’s request for a second glass of wine....read full review
