“Ordered takeout, which included a few meals with pancakes, eggs, bacon, hash browns etc. Food was good! Only complaint - Checked “yes” for adding condiments, but was not given anything. Not even pancake syrup which unfortunately I did not discover until I got home and did not have any in the house. Ate the pancakes dry and they were still good.“

Family owned and run for generations. At times coffee needs to be made fresh but other than that four stars for sure. Great place to hold small to mid size parties. “I could not be more proud; or more homesick looking at these pictures. In 1970; my parents made the same decision countless others did; joining the great migration to the suburbs, determined to find a nice, safe place to settle and raise a family in one of the most highly-rated school districts in America. I have never stopped thanking them for that decision, it was simply a wonderful place to grow up. Fortunately; my parents found a modest 3-bedroom home on a block that was literally IN WALKING DISTANCE to All American and, believe me, WE WALKED THERE OFTEN. There may have been a McDonald's or BK somewhere in Massapequa, but I have absolutely no memory of that! Sorry MickyD's, this is just something that doesn't translate to mass franchising, not that you're too worried, I'm sure. I'm an old lady now and I am so pleased to see that little has changed at All American, because...it was perfect. I have tears in my eyes looking at the photos and remembering the countless summer nights we'd scrounge for change in the couch cushions, Mom's purse, anywhere-- and it was always enough to get a hot delicious burger, fries, drink and even a grilled cheese or ar knish. We'd sit along the benches on the sides; happily stuffing our faces, completely unaware of just how lucky we were, or that this cherished icon would still stand half a century later; looking much as it did then-- even though we certainly don't! I know this treasure has received some well-deserved love from the show: Diner's, Drive-in's and Dives and that guy obviously has good taste! The name could not have been more appropriate: It's an ALL-AMERICAN place in one of the greatest All-American hometowns, Massapequa, NY. Enjoy!“

“Unfortunately, Burger Bar closed in December 2023 to be changed into a new restaurant called Burgerology that will open in early 2024. But Burger Bar had great cheeseburgers, French fries, and the best part of Burger Bar was their amazing and exquisite milkshakes with a range of delicious toppings. Our server, Kim, was sweet and kind. Remembered our order after the first time we had her. I was able to design my very own burger and she got it right every time. Many seniors like to sit and talk and slowly enjoy our coffee and each other's company. It's a joke that this location does not realize this. You do not see these signs in other communities.“

Aldo was very friendly and answered thoroughly any questions I had about the menu. Aldo treated me like family.I ordered the mini rice balls, sicilian style rice balls, mozzarella sticks, a garlic knot slice, and a cheese slice, and let me say, everything that I had ordered was amazing.
