For a place with so much potential, good food and drinks and nice atmosphere, they mess it all up with their service, getting orders wrong, and long wait times. This is the 2nd time this happened. We started with a cheese board and drinks, minus my pregnant friend which she mentioned. The cheese board took 30 min to come out with barely anyone in the place. Then each ordered something, 2 of which came out and my prego friend’s dish never did until we said something. The server came back with a different story every time and when the pizza finally arrived it was incorrect. They then offered her a free drink (um she’s pregnant can’t drink). This food should have been comped and they should’ve immediately made her a new one. We had to share our dinner so she didn’t starve. Very disappointing because I liked this place. I will say that we did get a 15% discount which was something as the server tried to make it right at the end.

I think this place is super underrated!! Been here a few times, I love how the pasta portions are reasonably sized and absolutely divine!!! Pizza could be a little crispier, but overall flavors are out of control. 10/10 also the staff is really awesome. WAIT I JUST POSTED THIS.. DESPITE THIS.. a dirty martini costing $20 is actually out of control. That’s not cool. Doesn’t change too much though everything was great. But $20 for a martini kinda nuts. Mixed feels.

NOT an Italian restaurant. Heads up new ownership: Limited menu with charcuterie, paninis, small pizzas, and a few token pasta dishes. That's it... The wine was excellent. Music as well- live guitarist. The paninis were nothing to speak of, better at my local diner, not even close to their enticing descriptions. Seating all high stools w no backs and foot rests a bit too low. Very uncomfortable. Service not attentive. Music too loud. One large sports tv. Good ambiance. Good for casual get together over drinks only, not for a good meal.

I was going here fairly regularly, but the service has just gotten even worse there. First of all, we showed up, ordered pizzas, and we were told that it would be about 30 mins before they can make pizzas because the ovens were off (why were they off if you were open for business?). They took our drink order and came back with it fairly quickly, then didn’t even check on us for an hour to see if we wanted another round. They brought out one pizza (we ordered two to share among three of us) and it took 30 minutes for the next pizza to arrive. The best part was we dined there for happy hour prices and he upcharged our drinks to the regular prices. I made a comment so that he would give us the fair price. I won’t be going back, which is sad, because I did enjoy coming here.

I thought it couldn't get worse..... no sauce, over cooked, no flavor..... $21 for this... then upon taking a big bite, I notice a sideways, cooked fly baked right into the sauce. See photo. I wouldn't recommend this place.

extremelyyyy hot. it's July in new york and i get they want the open doors but it's a swamp in there. also a wine bar but only really about 10 wines on the menu was not making much sense. menu was like a soggy paper. inside was decent set up as far as furnishings i guess, bar was kinda cool. music was great and different. the glasses were large which was nice. we had one & left because it was like 85 and humid in the whole place. two servers also bartending, serving, & hosting somehow. The poor staff. about 20 people in there drinking and they're struggling to run around and you could see they weren't happy. i don't blame them

Went last night. Watermelon martini (on special drink menu) tasted like water with watermelon purée. Waitress although v nice needed to be reminded 3x to bring us water. Brought out 1 app when we ordered 2 & when reminded of this gave us wrong one ( which they did comp) food was fair but margarita pizza we got looked like a frozen Celeste pizza with a sprig of basil thrown on top. Heard they were much better than this. Not impressed at all. Won't be returning. Don't waste your money.

After seeing the last review I now realize this man is a scam artist! I wasn't going to leave a review either, but i had split the bill w 6 girlfriends a couple months back, left a 20% cash tip and then they went ahead and added another 20% tip on my card!! I am a server myself, and wrote CASH on the tip line, and left the $ on top. I feel so sorry for all the others this must've happened to :( I was considering coming back tonight to use my 'credit' but not to be scammed again!

We have been coming to Molto Vino for a few years now. There's a great selection of wine and Davide makes the best Negroni I've ever had. Friendly faces, attentive service, and a warm, relaxed environment. You don't feel rushed to finish your meal or your drink. Sometimes there's also live music. A nice place for a chill date night. There are also special events occasionally. Pizza is good too! As close to an authentic Neopolitan-style pie that you can get locally. Recommended :)

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!! The boss is very unprofessional and treats his staff like garbage. I was there about a week ago and the boss Max was acting atrociously. He was wearing a grease stained T-shirt and came over to assert himself and say he was the boss. The food is horrible it was rock hard because the pasta was undercooked. Also when I was drinking my vodka soda it was supposed to have Tito’s let me tell you right now it tasted like $1 vodka. I went to the waiter to tell him about this drink and he told me that they put cheaper liquor in the name brand bottles. Until this place has different ownership I will not be coming back and not letting anyone I know go there either.

0 stars if possible. I went there last Saturday with 4 of my friends, and waited over 2 hours for our food. Two of our friends had a party to get to and didn’t expect our dinning experience to be 3 hours long, they had to leave before receiving any food because of how late this made them. When our food finally did arrive the baked clams were ice cold, the pasta was hard as a rock due to being undercooked, etc. You’d think after 2 people having to get up and leave from our party without eating, the manager would comp a drink or something. Our waiter was very sweet and apologetic but management really should have stepped in and provided us with anything. Will definitely never go back here due to the extremely long wait for poor quality food.

Last night Molto Vino was our last destination to a great Friday evening out. Henley's Village Tavern for dinner. Lions Den for 80's night & Molto Vino for our final glass of Pinot Grigio. Babylon Village was quiet. We arrived at 11:30ish & the bar had about 8 ppl. Not many ppl out late but we enjoyed our wine and called it a night.
