I was attempting to place an order. However, the person answering the phone seemed annoyed. I told her that I didn’t like her attitude. I won’t be patronizing this business because they need to work on customer service.

I absolutely love and enjoyed eating at rock n come in. They have very attentive service, and the food is delicious. You can taste the coconut in the rice. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

So we ordered two weeks ago the packaging was sloppy but food was good.i even called to complement the chef..I also recommended to other people and they have ordered ,2 days laterOrdered yesterday oxtails was fatty and ok the rice was not good it tasted spoiled but I thought it was a mistake so my coworkers got a side of rice and said it had tasted funny.Maybe an hour went by we all got sick .I threw up that night l and put the spoiled food in the garbage later that night when leaving work it smelled in the garbage that is unhealthy to give someone old foodHorrible let's not get lazy .if you are in the food business the way we grow is through word of mouth so please don't forget you feeding the public your community and they can either make your business or notDo better

I was in the mood for some Jamaican food and Rock and Come In popped up on my search. The reviews were mixed, but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try them out. I called for takeout and the reception could have been better, but I suppose that's all they were capable of giving. I was told that I could come right away and the food would be ready. I ordered the Rasta Pasta with Jerk Chicken. I arrived there in less than 15 minutes. Upon entering the establishment the place was not busy in the least. Only one other individual was sitting at the counter. I saw a bag on the counter. It so happened to be mine. A woman behind the counter went over the contents of the bag before ringing up the meal. The bottom of the bag didn't feel hot, so I'm not sure how long the food was sitting out. I was still hopeful that the food was hot, but upon opening up the container of food, because I was hungry, the food was lukewarm and the chicken looked dry, but tasted OK. After a few bites, the food was no longer pleasant. There was a lot of oil sitting at the bottom and middle of the container and the pasta was soggy. Almost as if it was reheated. It didn't look fresh. The picture is what's left of the meal. I dread having to eat anymore and the sight of all that oil just turns my stomach.

i’ve came to this place a year ago and it was so yummy! … but after yesterday? i have a completely different opinion.i ordered oxtails and rasta pasta… it was $20.they gave me 4 oxtail bones with salty, dry, overcooked and greasy pasta.this food isn’t fresh at all.take your money elsewhere.

I haven't been there for at least a year. After I was there this past weekend for a medium oxtail, I was reminded myself why.I ordered my food in person, and the front cashier/host was so bland, i was hoping the food wasn't as bad as her customer service. I was kind of surprised that the food that was prepped up was quicker than a Mcdonalds drive thru. When i got home, the food didn't really taste as fresh due to the quickness of the preparation, and I was sick the night of, which had me throwing up during the night.Something needs to change because I never ever had a stomach issue from a jamaican oxtail meal for ANY jamaican restaurant.

The worst Jamaican food ever! The rice was very hard, stew chicken was tasteless with loads of oil and my husband’s jerk pork was extremely salty and burnt. We spent $32 and tossed it all in the garbage. Not to mention waiting 15 minutes to be served.

We ordered take out to have Jamaican food picnic at the beach. We came around noon on a Sunday & ordered jerk pork, jerk chicken & oxtail. The wait is not that long, but we have to change one of our orders midway through our wait because we were told the jerk chicken wont be ready in another 30 min or so. so we swapped it for fried chicken instead. All the 3 dishes were delicious, flavorful & if its spicier it would have been a plus! i just happen to like spicy food. The rice taste so good & the serving is good for 2. The price is also reasonable. One drawback though the young lady at the cashier looks very impatient when taking our order. She gives the impression she's tired to entertain any basic question about the menu when infact we are the only customers at the resto at that time. Despite this we will still come back & try other dishes when visiting this part of Long island!

Was so looking forward to supporting this business. Had a friend join me who was traveling from Jersey. Unfortunately, the customer service was so poor. We were not greeted after we sat down the menus were tossed on the table and the young woman never said a word. When we asked her for the restroom, she pointed. She never came back to the table and never greeted us. The coldness in this atmosphere was not worth the trip. All we wanted to do is spend our money and enjoy a good meal and the attitude of the female staff member resulted in us leaving.
