Three of us got three drinks. One ordered a cold iced tea and it came hot. I ordered a mocha iced coffee. And the third person ordered some lavender fancy coffee drink. We went in about 3:00 p.m. The owner was very friendly however the server was unknowledgeable, impatient, and forgetful. I'm assuming it's the owner's daughter. I believe the bill was $24 and we left a $3 tip. It cost me $27 bucks for three coffee drinks one of which was hot water and a tea bag. Their hours are bizarre. The server ruined our experience. I can't fault her she was a young girl. I also want to state that the three drinks took roughly 20 minutes to get to our table. I felt that it was possibly frowned upon to just order drinks and not food. I don't think I'll be returning.

Came here at 3:40pm on a Saturday and doors were locked. Confused because hours on the door says 5, online says 4. Either way they're supposed to be open. Workers were inside but I guess they felt like closing early. Just wanted to grab a drink to go. Maybe next time if I want to gamble if they're open when they're supposed to.

This place is a gem in Baldwin. They prepared food with love, and that shows in every dish. Highly recommend the crab cakes, chicken and waffles, and the french toasts. Coffees and drinks are very creative and delicious. Definitely, we are coming back.

The food was tasty and fresh. They made different options for us(we have allergies to several things), but we were able to enjoy.I had the grain bowl. The lettuce, dill , tomatoes, bulgar , cucumbers and cilantro were fresh.I also had the fruit cup and mint tea.The fruits which are my favorite were sweet. Very nice ambience and friendly owners.

I was intrigued by the reviews and decided to give this place a try with my bff for Sunday brunch. It is recommended that you make reservations due to limited seating (pre-ordered for two $25 each--seating allotment of 1 1/2 hr). I was greeted by an inviting host and seated. The restaurant is very quaint and cozy. The hostess/waitress didn't seem knowledgeable about the menu and failed to tell us about entree specials that weren't on the menu before we ordered. We ordered a Passion fruit mimosa and Venice for our drinks which were good. We both opted for the same entree--Avocado toast with jerk chicken. I added a sunnyside up egg with mine and the waitress failed to add the jerk chicken until later. The entree was ok but was expecting the jerk to be spicier.

Sunday brunch done just right. Not too much, not too little, food came so tempting there is no picture because I dug right in. The hot chocolate was delicious and photo worthy so can share that. Great food, great service and a large clean bathroom = cant wait to go back.

Had a wonderful brunch at Sweet & Savory Café while I was in New York. The café is inviting and feels cozy. It's located in downtown Baldwin. Must tries are the: fried chicken and waffles. So good. You can opt to have the jerk chicken. Chicken was perfectly cooked. Homemade muffins. The turtle and the pistachios are so moist and delicious Shakshuka is one of my favorite North African dish. Egg simmered in a tomato stew with a hint of spices including cumin. Topped with fetfa Yum!! Staff is amazing. Please support this neighborhood gem!

I love this place. The food is delicious, but the service with a smile is what always brings me back. The owners are hands-on and friendly. I've been a few times, and each time, they act like I'm a regular. I love the way they make me feel, and then I always enjoy my n meal. A win- win!!

When I've eaten there the food and drinks are excellent but I can hardly catch them open I'm sure that they are still in business, I hope so, so I'm doing my ratings based on my experience there, I hope to catch them opened again
