This is, by far, is the best Japanese food in the area. I know people who drive from Lynbrook for the food. I'm grateful to have them right here in Baldwin. Whether you dine in or to go, the food is fresh and absolutely delicious. They have great specials and have added new items to the menu. We don't go anywhere else. Try it for yourself. I guarantee you'll love it. Enjoy!Vegetarian options: You can find them on the menu or they will help you.Kid-friendliness: Quaint dining room with 3 booths and 2 tables for two. Easy and comfortable atmosphere.
Previous management was better. Since ownership changed hands, the quality of the sushi plummeted. It’s fishy. You could be the only table sat and it will take them 15+ min to even ask for your drink order. Also parking is near impossible and dangerous if you don’t get a spot near the restaurant you’re quite literally risking your life crossing Atlantic ave. People driving do not care, they will hit you and drive away.
Definitely 5 stars,food always fresh and tasty. I took my brother for the first time and he never had sushi before he did spciy tuna roll he love it. He's planning to go back soon. He can't stop talking about the food. Excellent customer service. I would recommend anyone to try the shrimp fried rice. This is the best place to get shrimp fried rice.

I do forget it's there. I have had very good food from here. Bento box, fried rice, sushi. Lunch menu and dinner menu. All food has been delicious. No complaints. Staff help you if you need assistance understanding some things. No language issues. I have not dined in, only take out. And I've picked up order.

Best rolls and bento box deals with salad AND soup. I order from here multiple times a week sometimes. Staff are personable and the chefs are skilled. I love the Hawaii roll and special Kani roll. We dined here for my parent's anniversary and they made a special appetizer for free. They remember your order by heart and the customer by face. I love Toyo and highly recommend.
