They were incredibly rude when our family of 6 stopped in for lunch. Aside from a large table of about 10, the place was empty. As soon as the (cook, waiter..?) stepped out of the kitchen he saw us waiting to be seated and cursed under his breath. He then told us it would be slow because of the other group. As he sat us he said a “phone call would be nice”. Feeling unwelcome, we left and had no issues enjoying a meal next door at Sammy Malones. My recommendation is stay away! There are many other more accommodating places in the area.

I literally have no idea how this place with such prime real estate stays open with no business... ( I mean I have some idea) But it's just speculation. Attempted to give them business last night and couldn't even willingly hand them my money. My GF attempted to order a cider and the crypt keeper stated they didn't have ciders "This isn't one of those downtown bars, We have beer and wine" OK, Fine. I'll take a Yuengling then. "That might be the one beer we're out of" She says. "It kicked a week ago" Well, I politely stated if it kicked a week ago they probably should've removed the handle or at least covered it so it doesn't look like it's available. We didn't attempt a 3rd selection, Just got up and left. Won't bother going back.. It's really too bad that another business can't take over that spot.. such a waste.

Our first and LAST visit !!! I agree with the other review where it felt like they were NOT happy to have customers.Went for my husband’s birthday celebration - 8 of us total. We arrived just before they opened and there were 2 couples ahead of us. A guy opened the door and we allowed the couples to go ahead of us and we walked in behind them. HE said from outside to go down the stairs - but the couples in front of us didn't hear him and stood at the sign that says wait to be seated. He then rudely said (again from outside – while we’re now all inside) ‘go downstairs – it shouldn’t be that difficult – gravity should help’ - but again - the couples ahead of us did not hear him as they were talking and we felt it would be rude to walk ahead of them. We also had a guide dog with us and he gruffly told my daughter that next time the dog needed to come in downstairs. She explained that she is a trained guide dog and he said 'it doesn't matter - you need to use the downstairs entrance'. Again - first time there - we don't know there are multiple entrances we could come in. We should have left right then as the rude welcome overshadowed the rest of our visit. Our waitress was wonderful. Maybe she needs to be the one to open and welcome people to the establishment but we’ll never know as we’ll never step foot in this establishment again.

Our server was not at all attentive. When she did speak, she mumbled. I ordered a Caesar salad with shrimp, specifically with the dressing on the side. The salad came and it had dressing on it. I did tell her it was ok as long as it wasn’t drenched. She assured me it was not and that she could get me more. She never came over and asked how it was, I had to ask someone else for a second plate, thinking that if I got the salad off the original plate it might help, it didn’t. There was so much dressing that the croutons were soggy. It should be indicated on the menu that the shrimp isn’t grilled, it’s mini shrimp cold on top. When she came over after we had finished and asked for the bill, she asked if I wanted a take home container as the majority of it was still on the plate. I told her that I was extremely disappointed. She then asked if I wanted something else, but my son was already done with his dinner, so the answer was no. There was no apology and she didn’t even offer to take it off my bill. I paid $15 for a cup of salad with generously 20 mini shrimps. Totally not worth it, will never go back again. I will say that my son thoroughly enjoyed his pizza

The service was good. The food was awful. Nachos were stale. The downstairs pub was closed. It's too bad because the location is perfect for a nice summer night.

Who ever heard of a bar closing at 7pm? This town is so darn boring! Came to listen to a cover artist, and they close earlier then they really should. Also parking is a mess.

Had my dad's retirement party upstairs this past weekend with about 50 people. Beautiful venue right on the water including an adjacent covered deck and full service bar inside (with TV's). Patty was very accommodating and helpful in planning the weeks prior to the event. Everything from the food/setup to service and atmosphere was great! Food to headcount ratio was accurate and prices were fair. Would definitely host a party here again!
