“Delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, service could use some work. A lot of staff standing around staring but not offering to help. We stood at the hostess station for 5 minutes to check in for our reservations and finally one girl asked if she could help me. It was a bit strange. However, once seated, things went smoothly and the service was fast. We were a party of 3 and we love sushi so that's what we all got and shared our varieties. I also tried the spicy tuna wontons and they were amazing! Just like crab rangoons but maybe better with the sauces provided - so yummy! We would recommend this restaurant and would go back. Maybe by then their staff will be better trained on greeting customers??“

“Great hidden gem!! Went in for a take out order. Restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and looked very clean. The staff were personable and professional. I ordered three spicy crab rolls and edamame. All four items were very fresh and tasted fantastic. Will definitely try sit down and some other rolls and food next visit.“

“I was recently at Sushi Na-ra and I wish I could give the establishment more stars. The food was excellent but what really stuck out to me was the service. I have never received better service at a restaurant. The atmosphere was kind and our server frequently checked in. Will definitely be returning.“

“We came in for lunch before dropping off my husband for a flight out. We started with a white miso with soft tofu and seaweed before having beef tataki, which was tender and perfectly flavored with scallions and their house sauce.Japanese couple running the front of house, kitchen and sushi bar. The wait for the sushi, which we chose a la carte, was worth every bite. The rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the fish was fresh. We had the eel and avocado, yellowtail, tuna and salmon rolls. Our favorite was the yellowtail as it was so flavorful and fresh tasting by comparison to other times we have eaten it at other restaurants. The service was attentive and timely.Happy to return here the next time we pass through Albany.Parking: Located in a mini shopping center there was sufficient parking.Kid-friendliness: They offer a kid menu with three options. Works for most kids preferences. Our kid was fine with eating what we had. They also had high chairs available for younger kids.“

“Every experience we’ve had has been positive. The staff are attentive and kind. They genuinely seem happy to serve their customers. We had a mix up w a take out order and they apologized repeatedly. On our next trip, the remembered my name and more than compensated us for the mistake. I was blown away by the customer service. And the food? It’s spot on. Fresh, delicious and consistently good. Niji is truly a gem in the heart of Rotterdam and my family and I would highly recommend their establishment.“

“Went specifically for the hibachi, was not disappointed. Very tasty food, though obviously lots and lots of butter. Very accommodating with allergies.Dietary restrictions: Restaurant seemed super accommodating for allergy modifications in the sushi menu. Gluten free soy sauce available upon request.“

Overall, I liked the food and most likely will order again.Eel avocado rolls - DeliciousThai iced tea - It was delivered inside of a paper bag. Didn't spill or anything, but at first, I wasn't sure if it actually came in the order. Was delicious, so no complaints there.White rice/teriyaki sauce on the side - Can't really go wrong there, though a dollar for a little bit of sauce that wasn't even enough for the rice seems a bit overpriced. Otherwise, it was tasty.Harumaki/spring rolls - Overpriced considering that there were only 2 small rolls. Other restaurants will give you 4 for the same price. They arrived soggy and tasted odd. I'm not sure if it was because I ordered the food later in the day or not, but they weren't very good.Pad thai - I guess it was my mistake to order pad thai from a sushi place. It was some of the worst pad thai I've had. Couldn't even finish it.“

“I went in 20 minutes before the lunch service was scheduled to close on a Saturday and crossed my fingers that it wasn't too late for an impromptu take out order. They not only accommodated my request but it was done with the 20 minutes (or less!) and everything was excellent.It was my 1st time ever and I was rushing through the lunch menu for familiar items. I went with the standards: Spring rolls, Steamed pork dumplings, Shrimp Pad Thai and Shrimp Tempora. My mom and I were both very pleased with the food and there was enough to have a second meal on Sunday as well.Thank you Sushi Thai. I'll be stopping by again when I can browse through the menu longer!“

“The food at this restaurant was delicious, with each dish bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. We ordered Steak hibachi and Bangkok basil chicken. However, the service was okay, lacking the attentiveness and warmth that could have elevated the dining experience to exceptional. Overall, it was a great choice for a tasty meal“

“Great sushi and appetizers - I do t think we have had a halfway decent meal, it has all been great. The sushi portions and appetizers are very generous. Due to the size of the location it does get very busy and there may be a wait, however it seemed like they have three different staff working each table to we were not left sitting and waiting for drink refills or sauce etc. if you can call ahead of time and get a nice window seat which will set the ambiance well for your dinner. Overall this is a nice cozy place with great sushi, just make sure you go fairly early in the Eve in to avoid the online order rush!“

“Nice quiet place... Food was unexpectedly very good... And I say this cuz I personally find Thai places locally too sweet... But this place all the app, and entrees were delicious. The service was fast as well.. Only thing I didn't like was the bubble tea... It's pre-made and taste syrupy.. So that was a toss... But everything else was on Point! I would Def go again.“

“Oh my goodness gracious, hands down the BEST food we’ve eaten in the capital region. When I tell you that every single dish we ordered was packed with layers of flavors and we physically couldn’t hold ourselves back from “just one more bite”, I am not exaggerating. Each dish was prepared fresh with equally fresh and top-tier ingredients making every bite one worth savoring. I have enjoyed so many variations of Tom Kha up and down the East Coast, and in PDX but none come close to the deliciousness that we had tonight. Beyond the excellent food, you have the friendliest, fastest, and most attentive staff with the kindest service paired with a warm, welcoming, energetic atmosphere. Bangkok Kitchen just won our hearts and we are loyal fans that will be back again and again!“

“Great service and always consistently the best sushi around. Everything is always fresh and on-point. We return here again and again wherever the craving for sushi hits us. The takeout is just as good as ordering in. If you want sushi, this is the place to go.“

“Celebrated some good things happening last night. We all enjoyed our meals, as usual, and took advantage of their buy a fancy sushi, get a regular sushi free. “Very very busy when we went in. A huge birthday party going on in the back party room. Didn't hear it but you could see. We waited a while to be seated and then over 30 minutes food. But we'll cut them some slack they were so busy. Food was good. The California roll was a little mushy. A very weird thing is there was no tea offered You have to order it, not a big deal but would have been nice. We'll go back“

“My FAVORITE restaurant!!! So gooood. The location doesn't reflect how GOOD the food is but i would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND going here. My family and I have been going here for years. Prices are totally reasonable and DELICIOUS. The woman that works here is the sweetest and the survice is so fast. I'm greeted with a smile and such an amazing atmosphere every single time. Their gyoza and miso soup is to die for. Any sushi on the menu is extraordinary.“

“My friends and I were passing through the state the day after the solar eclipse. Our last dining experience was absolutely horrid. THIS place however, got it all right. Vibes were impeccable. The food presentation and taste were spectacular. Our server, Susan, was so attentive and sweet. Five stars and my sincere thanks to all the staff!!“
