They clearly have a solid customer base for cakes, as people were either in and out during my whole time placing orders, or they were calling orders in on the phone.I had a little snack; an edible cookie dough, doughnut, and just a black coffee. Picked up a blueberry muffin and coffee while on my way to class. It was on a Friday morning and they had a small selection of pastries and it looked fresh. My muffin was delicious and had a great crumb. The staff was nice and welcoming. My coffee was actually very good! A nice surprise and I will definitely stop by again.

This place is not it. We miss Rolling Pin. We would come here all the time because there were no other options on Main Street (Flour Shoppe Cafe saved us). The owner is not friendly at all! We would come for treats after school for the convenience but nothing we've tried really stands out. Flavors are always off and their trea leches was just awful. Their fridge is pretty close to a freezer as everything is always hard as a rock. The cupcakes are very small for the price and the brownies have a weird after taste. Everyone else behind the counter is kind and helpful so I'm giving the stars for the staff. Dulce de Leche in Brightwaters is 10 times better and they're friendly as well.

I walked in to order my sons first birthday cake, I described what I wanted which was only a cake for 20 people. I was told I had to contact the manager through email to ask for permission to order the cake and when I asked if they can contact the manager I was told they can't reach him/her and I needed to email them. I was told I'd get a response within 24-48 hours if I was approved to order my cake. When you are planning a party you don't have time to wait 1-2 days for a response. Bad customer service. Campbell's bakery was more than accommodating in letting me order my cake from ugh the same theme for my sons first birthday.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, Amanda did a great job for the cake I ordered, and the price she quote me was worth it .get a custom cake done I shopped around and everyone was expensive but she gave-me a quote which suited my budget so didn’t ask anything and hoped the cake to be good. I had custom jungle safari theme cake , and it came out beautiful for my first sons birthday. The cake tasted delicious it was just “the right “amount of sweetness she had , I meanAmazing never had a cake taste sooo good like this from a bakery . I am Soo happy I chose them. THANK YOU SOO MUCH FOR MAKING IT SPECIAL you all are amazing. Please refer picture for reference., Amanda bakery only lacked one thing was delivery . Ordered a cake for a birthday and it was amazing! Red velvet with raspberry filling and the Mallard duck theme was perfect for the event! Definitely coming back to order another theme cake for future parties! The ordering process was smooth and the cake was made on time and ready for pick up.

I don't know why I wasted my time with this Bakery again. My neighbor ordered a cake there last year and the staff and owner was rude. I went there today after church (12:10.pm 1/22) because I wanted a cake for my sister's birthday and I was told that they didn't have anything to write on the cake. What!! How are you selling cakes on Sundays and not prepared. I went there maybe in 2019 bought two cakes and the staff was rude. They cakes where big and didn't have the appropriate boxes. One girl just taped them and when I got home my cakes where ruined (I even think that the girl was there today) Today again I asked what boxes do you have, the staff said not high enough;again. It is sad, I have noticed that your bakery it's empty especially on Sundays. I ask you Amanda how is it that your staff lets a paying customer leave without any suggestions, maybe, you sell those little plastic things that say happy birthday. But no the faces that I saw on your staff today, were faces that were annoyed because of my questions and clearly did not want to serve me. Plus you didn't even have customers only one African American with her son that probably heard your staff, so you weren't busy. This is such a cute little bakery in the heart of Bay Shore! I found it through google because I was looking for a good bakery and Amanda's Bakery had a 4.8/5, raving reviews, and beautiful photos so I knew I needed to try it. It is on main street so the parking in front is a little limited but there is a very convenient parking lot in the back along with side street parking. The atmosphere is adorable and is very inviting for a cup of joe or splitting your favorite pastry! My cousin and I got traditional cheesecake, 2 cakes pops, and a smores bite (I believe is what it is called). The cake pops were great because they were not overly sweet! The smores bite was absolutely delicious and definitely my second favorite. However, the cheesecake was the fan favorite! Even my mom started sneaking in bites because we could not stop talking about how great it was! I will definitely be coming back for more! 10/10 recommend!

I recently had two great experiences with Amanda's Bakery. I had a dozen cookies made, and a 70th birthday cake for my mom. The ordering process was easy and seamless, and the staff were extremely friendly and nice when I went to pick up my orders. They brought my vision to life with both the cookies and the cake, not to mention how great both tasted. My mom absolutely was in love with her cake, and she said it made her whole birthday. I cannot thank Amanda's Bakery enough for their attention to detail, customer service and over all great experience!

Delicious custom bridal shower cake and easy communication from start to finish. Ordered an 8" round chocolate cake with peanut butter filling for my best friend's bridal shower. I emailed an inspo photo and dropped off the toppers the week of the party. Could not have been happier with the finished product. It also doubled as a great photo op too.
