Really disappointed with this place and had such high hopes given the look of the place and the clientele that you would expect they would want to cater to. We went with a party of 8, reserved in advance. It was our friends’ first time in fire island and we thought it would be nice to go out for a nice meal, this is not the place. Generally the food was lackluster, no one at the table really enjoyed the meal. One friend ordered the lobster roll which was really just a buttered roll with 2 tablespoons of lobster. If it’s a matter of pricing, don’t have it on the menu if you can’t provide a legitimate amount of meat. The salmon was fine, overcooked, in my opinion. The folks that got burgers were not impressed. The calamari did not appear to actually be calamari and instead were probably the pig rectum The NY Times spoke about. Service was lacking. One of the party asked for Parmesan and got it when they were basically done eating. We had to chase the waiter down for the check to leave. There are better options if you have time to go to Kismet, like the Dive. Would not recommend this place.Vegetarian options: For vegetarian options, you have a single pasta entree or salads

These ppl are racist… I came in with my family and asked for tables outside and they said “ they are reserved” and we left it alone and respected it until a white family comes up and say “ we do not have Reservation” and the waitress offered them the outside tables. They had so many open seats outside. I genuinely still am so shocked about this and also extra tip they charge $10 extra on your meal for “cargo shipping” meanwhile it’s already placed in the food pricing :). Never again and never recommend anyone here. Thank you ?? I’m usually not one to talk but to help others!

Nice bar located at the end of the dock near the pier. Nice bar vibe during happy hour. The service and food were good except for the lobster roll which is basically shredded lobster meat stuffed into a hot dog roll with little or no taste.

It brings me no joy to give Le Dock a mediocre review. My husband and I have been coming here every summer for many years so I know how hard the current owners are trying. The best attitude for an evening at Le Dock is to focus on the positive; the view is heavenly, the frozès are fabulous and hopefully the person sitting across your table is a good enough conversationalist the meh food being served is a mere footnote on an otherwise delightful evening on Fire Island.

We have gone to Le Dock for many years but our most recent dining experience with them was a great disappointment. They used to be more Italian focused with many phenomenal pasta dishes with seafood, and now is more like a seafood restaurant.We ordered the crab cakes and Parmesan herb crusted French fries to start - the crab cakes were a little fishy (could have used a little lemon juice) and the Parmesan crusted French fries were good fries, but not parmesan herb crusted.We ordered the penne alla vodka and the fish tacos for our entrees and both were very bland. They give good portions, but the food is not very flavorful. We asked for salt to help with that and never got it, despite us asking 3 different staff.Le Dock has been a very special restaurant for us that was a little pricey, but worth it as the food had been great. We are very disappointed of how much the quality has worsened.

Denise the host was extremely rude for no reason. staff is terrible and servers need guidance on hospitality. good location if ur willing to put up with rude people and average tasting food.
Great local spot for a meal with an incredible sunset view. The specials were delicious and my kids even finished their meals!

With a new chef this year, Le Dock has become only a restaurant with a wonderful venue, views and service, but also a place with exceptionally delicious fare.All five of the dishes the two of us ordered were fabulous, and the portions were way more than adequate in size. Our server, Dalton, was absolutely terrific.Looking forward to our next meal there!

With a new chef starting this season, Le Dock has transformed itself into not only a wonderful venue with great views and service, but now superb food as well! Each of the five dishes that the two of us ordered were exceptionally tasty, more than adequate in quantity and beautifully presented. Our server, Dalton, couldn’t have been more helpful, courteous, friendly, and attentive. Looking forward to our next meal there!!
