Tasty oysters, world class cocktails, great ambiance. Always a treat. Oysters in particular are well done and the staff is knowledgeable. Try the tiger oysters for a unique treat!

Came here for Valentines Day and couldn’t have been any happier. This is our go-to spot to stop in for fresh oysters and wine. Reservations are a must, and the food is always consistent and just at another level. Great spot in Bay

Prices are outrageous for what you get. I ordered the Duck, I could've had a much larger portion from a reputable Steakhouse for the same price. I don't like how they cram everyone in with the table arrangements. Everyone heard our conversations and chimed in and vice versa-- nothing private or intimate about the place. Staff was nice, that's about it. And I ended up getting sick and throwing up when I got home, prob was the Duck lol Def Wouldn't go back.

Sea bass was stinky definitely not fresh Pasta ( we all know is cheap ) was a tiny portion with greasy garlic bread Onion rings tasted like they were cooked in old oil What happened ? We know everything has gotten expensive but no reason to lose quality

We had an awesome server. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We had 2 appetizers, the mushroom flatbread and burata. Our dinners were awesome also. So many nice things to say. They were both filling and delicious. We had an enjoyable evening and will gladly come back.

Always a great experience at Salt & Barrel. Some of my favorites are the leche de Tigre oysters, the warm biscuits with whipped butter, grilled octopus, shrimp tacos (when it's available), the burger, scallops, farro salad with shrimp and their baked clams. Delicious! They offered a black truffle pasta last night & I hope they keep it on the menu! It was VERY good and not overwhelming.

The drinks are really good and different. It's fun to try different concoctions. The food is also good, but the portions are small. This was my third time there- I like it but very pricey for what you get in drinks and food. This isn't Manhattan.

The food was very good but a little pricey. We had many different oysters for appetizers and kept them coming before our meal. The ambiance is night you can chill with your friends at the bar or have date night. The service was good very detail and on point explaining the menu.

Valentines Dinner menu- the menu was a special for the day so it was not the same as was listed online/ website. Enjoyed the Salmon but was looking forward to something that was listed on that online menu ( but wasn't served that night) Third or fourth time at this restaurant- always top notch service. Would recommend

The service at salt and barrel was very good. The meals were exceptional. Very flavorful portions not too big. The server was very attentive. Drinks came out very fast. Will definitely go back.

Absolutely wonderful dinner date experience here the other night. We started with happy hour and got some fresh raw oysters. The price was right for the oysters, and the taste and freshness were even better than the price. We grabbed 2 local NY oysters and my favorite, the bar harbor blonde from Maine. They had such a great selection of oysters. I was impressed. The drink selection was very good. Plenty of bottled and craft beers. Huge wine list and great cocktails. For starters, duck spring rolls and the biscuits. The spring rolls had a ton of tender duck in a crispy shell with a sweet orange sauce. The biscuit was buttery and had a cheesy flavor. For mains, we split the dry aged duck and the scallops. The duck was ultra tender. Not really crispy. Sweet but tangy orange sauce. And the creamy yam puree went great with the tender yam slices. The scallops were larger in size but there were only 3. The sear on them was good and paired well with the pancetta and tiny Brussel sprouts.Highly recommended for a nice dinner or date night.Parking: Huge lot. Free at times.
