Excellent venue. Exceptional proprietor. Let him pour you some delicious brews. My favorite was the Winter Solstice. Also tried the Red Ale and Porter. Smooth. Went with Wife and kids (12, 10) on a Saturday night. Mixed crowd and great live music. We sat by the fireplace up front. There was a spacious area all the way back too. Plus an outdoor area for Summer. Ordered from the food truck directly out front. Fun night!

Perhaps the actual name of this here brewery is a shoutout to second chances and retries and attempting things more than once. Whether that's the case or not, my review is based on my lone visit to Take Two Brewery back late last month (accompanied by a few friends), with enough positive results to warrant a solid four stars. Hopefully you'll read a little past that first paragraph to hear about Take Two's interior and their bevy of beer. The setup runs long with a bunch of tables against the wall, a few TVs, and a small-ish hightop seating area by where you order. Their vibe mixes no frills brewery with cozy feels for what space they have and it felt like that mostly worked. What also worked was their pricing and beer options. For $10 you can get a flight of four tasters which these days is a solid deal. Pints run to $8 which is pretty standard, and if you do happen to want just one extra taste, your division would be correct in assuming a single taster costs $2.50. Nice. Choosing your beers though might be a little tough because Take Two was offering up thirteen different brews! For a place this size, I wasn't expecting such a lengthy menu. Sometimes you'll see some guest taps or ciders/seltzers (they had one listed) or other items to make it seem like there's more to choose from, but that was basically not the case here. Instead, we were able to select from a fantastic variety of beer styles which is always nice to see. I will say that the caveat to many different beer varieties (especially eclectic-sounding ones), is that you run the risk of concocting something that sounds great, but doesn't produce the flavors it's supposed to. Case in point would be the Dark Sunrise mocha latter porter. This beer sounded fantastic, but I couldn't pick up on any mocha (or latte?) notes. Not bad for just a basic porter if that was what it was showcased as, but that's what I mean with those exotic creations. Having said that, mostly every other beer (exotic or not) that I tried was delicious. The Cascades of Darkness black IPA, She Wore A... raspberry saison, Winter Solstice winter ale, and Georgia On My Mind peach vanilla saison were all flavorful and hit their style and notes that they were looking for. With a handful of beers that neither myself nor my buddies got to try, a return trip might be needed some time to get the gist of the rest of TT's beer ability. Overall, Take Two is a formidable newish brewery on the Long Island beer map. Their "nothing special" yet semi-cozy interior will invite you in, but you'll stay for the list of interesting beer choices, great prices, and mostly solid tastes. Hmm, perhaps the name Take Two just means you have to take two trips here because one just won't be enough to try everything? *strokes beard in wonderment*

Take two is a cool modern brewery. Their brews are definitely unique and there is something for everyone. The whole place gave me a cool, modern vibe. This is a very nice place to either chill with friends or even as a family. I tried samples of some of their beers and ended up getting a flight that gives 4 tasters. Special mention to their milk stout, it was delicious. Service was great. They even have pizzas and other finger foods to go along with the beer. My friend and I had a great time. They have a dart board too.

Came here as part of my husbands birthday party. good beer, nice staff. They have an outdoor space that looks nice but we didn't get to use because it was cold. They have games to play which is a fun plus We will definitely be coming back again

We recently hosted a fantastic party at this brewery, and it exceeded all expectations! The beer selection was top-notch. The party space was aesthetically pleasing, offering a great blend of indoor and outdoor areas that created a perfect atmosphere for our event. The service was impeccable, with staff going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Special kudos to owner David, who ensured everything ran smoothly. The dog-friendly environment added a delightful touch, and being able to bring our own snacks and desserts was a plus. The on-site food truck served up delicious meals, making it a truly memorable experience! I highly recommend and will definitely be using this space again.
