It was so bad. It was just a Hunan chicken lunch. I felt sick after eating it. The broccoli was not washed at all. When you bite into it, your mouth is full of dregs. It's not like you can pick out a grain of sand. It's a mouth full of crumbs. The green peppers are leftover, and they taste like they were stir-fried last night and re-fried today, so they are sour and soft. Maybe it’s because I ordered the first meal when their restaurant opened at noon, so I should take the first portion and dispose of any garbage first? It’s $12.50 per serving, more than $13 plus tax. It’s really not worth it and the dining experience is extremely poor. It was the first time I had lunch and I was so disgusted. They are still a dine-in restaurant, not even a small takeout restaurant. It's really unhygienic. The health department should come and review their qualifications to open a restaurant. I remember having a small pepper beef lunch at his house last year, and it was pretty good. Why has it fallen like this now? Reading the reviews, some people said that the store owner and all employees have been changed. This is probably the reason. This will definitely be the last time I eat at his place!

For extremely horrible service and extremely expensive they should humble themselves it’s only a matter of time, when a good Chinese food spot opens in the area

The food was good but it wasn’t authentic Szechuan style food. My family and I excepted more traditional style Szechuan food with peppercorns and dried chili but the food was more of a take out kind of Chinese food. Overall, the taste was good but we were disappointed as mentioned above as we expected something different. We did love the fried rice, pecking duck and shrimp in eggplant and garlic sauce. The service was impeccable and the servers were attentive and helpful.

We had been loyal patrons coming frequently for many years. Ever since the previous owner left, the food has become tasteless. Took home the chicken and added some teriyaki to give it flavor. My scallops dish was overpriced since the scallops were not whole. Likely won't be back. Very sad as this had been a consistent favorite.

My family went for dinner about a month ago. Our first time eating there with the new owners. Although the service was very good the food wasn't All our favorite dishes like shredded pork in Peking sauce did not taste the same We thought they kept the same chef but the food was not the same Everything we ordered did not taste as good as before even the lo menu We were very sad and will not be returning

Unfortunately they must have new owners. The charming man who greeted us at the door was no longer there! The dining room empty! We took food home and it was not the same. What a shame. Everyone deserves a retirement and I wish the former owners well!

I wanted to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Baybridge Szechuan restaurant for their remarkable generosity in supporting the Center for Women New York. I had the privilege of overseeing the food station during our event, and I must say, the dishes you donated left everyone in awe. Your General Tso"s Chicken was a true masterpiece, offering the perfect blend of sweet and savory flavors that left our guests craving for more. The beef with onions and green peppers was an absolute hit, with tender meat and perfectly sautéed vegetables that showcased your culinary expertise. The chicken and vegetable medley was a delightful surprise, boasting a vibrant combination of flavors and textures that left everyone's taste buds dancing with joy. And let's not forget the egg rolls - crispy, golden parcels of deliciousness that disappeared within minutes, leaving smiles on everyone's faces. It's rare to find a restaurant that not only excels in taste but also in their commitment to community. Baybridge Szechuan, you've not only satisfied our appetite but also filled our hearts with gratitude. Your contribution to our event was truly appreciated, and I can assure you that your culinary delights were enjoyed to the fullest by all. Thank you once again for your kindness and your delectable dishes. We look forward to savoring your incredible cuisine again in the near future. Baybridge Szechuan has certainly earned a special place in our hearts and taste buds!

Been a loyal patron for over 30+ years The food was always superb - the best Peking duck and dumplings around We went there Saturday to find the new owners had completely changed the menu and the demographics had changed Whatever old favorites they served such as egg rolls Fried dumplings and cold noodles were very mediocre We were only interested in our old standbys which were nowhere to be found on this new modernized menu The staff was nice in trying to accommodate but many were new and spoke no English so the new owner had to come over several times to assist I saw many old faces among the patrons shaking their heads looking at the new fancy menu and being told they "don't prepare those dishes any longer" Our favorite waiter Dave told us he was most unhappy and was going home to Taiwan the next day What I don't get is a new owner taking over and drastically changing the menu - why mess with success Alas we bid farewell to our favorite restaurant and will never return

My two stars are for the food. I bought an order of chicken wing,( usually you would get 4 whole chicken wings on an order, but only received 3 wings cut in half to make it look like six wings) for $12.95. I also bought pork fried rice , which was slight bigger than the small free white rice you get at any other Chinese restaurant for $7.95. The rice was bland and lots of oil on the bottom of the container . The egg roll was ok. Wish I would've taken pictures of it but was so upset that I threw away the food. Never again. Not boycotting the restaurant because to each it's own, but make sure you tell them not to use so much oils on the rice.

Sesame chicken was below average . Any storefront generic Chinese food place is better . Eggroll was flavorless . Pork dumplings were very bland .. no flavor or seasoning. Low tier Chinese food . D- rating .

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Queens. The original owner is back, which is a big improvement. and the food and service are very good. It’s a gem for takeout or dining in. They still make their own spicy Chinese mustard and it’s terrific.

While eating a mozzarella cheese omelet, the taste was strange at the end, so when I checked it, there was an unknown burnt object. I inquired with the waitress but was told it was because the food was burnt. However, there was no response from the restaurant. I just wanted to get an apology for ruining my breakfast and I was upset that no one responded except the waitress. If you make a lot of food, it could be, but I was even more angry thinking that I would have recognized it when cooking. I may go there again next time to eat, but I hope you will be a little more careful when you cook.

Speaking as a Chinese American, this "traditional" Chinese American fare is probably the best in the neighborhood. Food and service both were excellent. Waiters dressed in black and white. The owner came by to make sure we were satisfied. Dining room was clean and spacious. Tables topped with traditional table clothes and table settings. Music was nicely muted in the background, not blasting in your ears. And having parking right outside really helps. If you do the occasional Chinese take out like we do, you should try it fresh and hot at a decent sit down place like Baybridge Szechuan.
