I have been coming here for almost 20 years. The sushi is always fresh and delicious. One of my favorite menu items is the crib meat croquet. The staff is always attentive and helpful. The inside is small but well spaced. I am sure I will be coming back for years.

Not sure what all the complaints are about. I've been going to Mr. Wasabi for years and one thing they have always been is consistent. Any time I stray from my usual order I'm pleasantly delighted by the menu items. Their sushi is always fresh and their miso soup is such a comfort. The dining area is pretty small, but I wouldn't say it's terrible because it's always clean and cozy. Take out is always fast, and my favorite is the spicy tuna tar tar, extra chips.

Ordered Kani Salad, was really a cucumber salad for $8.00, hardly any crab meat, Roe or vegetables. Asked they put Roe in the salad, they said yes, but it it was maybe 1/4 teaspoon. I get this in Flushing for $6.50 with three times the amount of crab, tons of roe, and a lot of crunchy salad, usually cant even finish it. Was still hungry and had to go somewhere else to eat.
Food is ok...not amazing but satisfying.Service is nice and welcoming.I would recommend for a casual lunch/

My husband and I have been coming to this place for years. By far some of the best sushi we've ever had which is why we keep coming back. Everyone working here is so very welcoming and service is exceptional. The sushi is always fresh, tasty, and good quality. A great variety of rolls. The crab croquettes are delicious and we must have them every time. Very cozy, comfortable feel to the restaurant. We love everything we have tried here and will keep coming back.

Ordered shrimp tempura for takeout. It came with 7 fluffy shrimp, some fried veggies, a side of white rice and miso soup. The shrimp tempura batter took up a good amount away from the shrimp which were quite small to begin with.

This is one of the best sushi places I have been to! We started off with the wasabi spring rolls which came in wrapped in the rice papers, they were delicious! For rolls, we ordered one special roll (play boy) and two regular. The special roll and spicy crunch roll were amazing!!They have plenty of indoor dining space, the staff is very friendly, and the service is quick. Prices are very reasonable and the quality is great! Would highly recommend.
