We had dinner on a Friday night, and the restaurant and bar (very noisy) were packed. Restaurant service was quick and efficient. Although our waiter was definitely pushing add ons( Appetizers and dessert) and drinks. I was very disappointed in the calamari appetizer for $18...maybe 8 pieces of calamari, and the flavor was ok. I ordered the Baja fish tacos and a side salad. I was served two small tacos with hardly any filling. and a salad that was rather wilted. Overall the food is good, but not this time. The prices have increased and the portions have gotten smaller.

Made a reservation here for restaurant week. Apparently didn't need one. The place has its own parking lot with about a dozen spots. We entered the building which took us into the bar, which was bustling. The dining room was quaint, with some really nice booths and a fireplace that should have been lit. Our server was a good looking young man, pleasant, not overbearing with a sense of humor. We opted to include an additional appetizer of baked clams to our meal, along with the crab cake and winter salad, which I forgot to take photos of. My friend opted for the lamb chops while I had the branzino piccata. Yummy, although the menu never stated that the fish was served over a shrimp risotto. (I'm allergic to shrimp). Only 1 bone in the fish, so I was lucky. Our dessert consisted of tiramisu and rainbow cookie cheesecake. I was "fortunate" to get the last piece although not very cheesecake-y. All in all we had a nice dinner and will maybe return for another meal.

Excellent restaurant - food, service, decor, ambiance. And beautiful fireplace. Large bar. Private party room too. Two of us walked in on a Sunday evening and were seated in a nice spot right away. Definitely recommend.

We cannot express how grateful we are to have had Rich, Vanessa, and the whole team at Mill Creek Catering take care of our wedding!From the very beginning, they went above and beyond to make our day truly unique and unforgettable. We were blown away by the quality and taste of the food and drink. Rich worked with us to customize the menu to our tastes, and it was absolutely perfect. We received countless compliments from our guests on how delicious everything was. To this day our guests still bring up how amazing the short rib was!But Rich did not stop there. He also became our officiant and delivered a heartfelt ceremony that left us and our guests in tears. His attention to detail and personal touch made the ceremony truly special. In addition to the amazing catering and officiating services, Rich, along with Vanessa, helped to secure our rentals and decor, which would have been an overwhelming experience without their knowledge and expertise. We were amazed by their dedication and willingness to go above and beyond their duties.We hired Vanessa as a month-of coordinator and she helped us much more than we ever could have imagined. Not only did she keep us on track leading up to the big day, but she was essential in ensuring that everything was taken care of and ran smoothly on the day of the wedding. Mill Creek Catering & Events went above and beyond to make our wedding day gorgeous, memorable, and utterly delicious! Rich and Vanessa are the ultimate Dream Team and my wife and I are beyond grateful to them for making our day absolutely spectacular!!We’d originally planned to have our ceremony and cocktail hour entirely outside with our reception under a tent; it unfortunately poured the day of our wedding, so we had to move everything under the tent instead. Rich, Vanessa, and their team quickly pivoted and configured the space so that it could easily transition between the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception while still being distinctive for each part, and they really knocked it into the stratosphere; everything looked absolutely magical and ethereal, it made our entire day.Vanessa was our day-of coordinator and we 1000% could NOT have had such a perfect day without all of her efforts, expertise, and dedication. She was super organized and on top of everything--our day flowed absolutely seamlessly because of her--and she took care of any and all issues that came up seemingly without ever breaking a sweat; as a result, we were able to relax and be fully present in enjoying our day with our guests, which was exactly how we wanted to spend our wedding. She was instrumental in coordinating our vendors and getting all of our event details finalized, offered great feedback and advice throughout our planning, and she was such a calm presence both in the days leading up to our wedding and on the day-of, which put us both at ease. Vanessa was super enthusiastic about our wedding vision and aesthetic and absolutely nailed our décor and setup; she has a great eye and attention to detail, and is incredibly creative and resourceful. She's also very kind, compassionate, and just an absolute blast to work with.Rich is the sweetest; he worked with us on our budget and was also super enthusiastic about our wedding vision. He went out of his way to craft a unique seasonal menu that would satisfy our foodie tastes while still pleasing all of our guests, and he and Vanessa helped us select the best décor and table dressings to set everything off spectacularly. Rich is a true artist and is so passionate about what he does; from catering to design and setup, he always goes the extra mile. He has an incredible eye for detail, flavor, and flow, and he genuinely cares about creating a special, personalized, and cohesive experience rather than just throwing together something generic and conventional.Rich also takes food allergies very seriously, which was super important to my wife and I as we have many friends and family members with unique dietary considerations. He runs a cross-contamination free kitchen and crafted our menu with plenty of options to suit all of our guests’ needs; he even had entire meals prepared separately for some of our friends and family members with more complex dietary restrictions to ensure they’d get to enjoy the same dining experience as the rest of our guests. All of our food was absolutely delicious and of the highest quality, from taste to presentation; so many people told us it was the best food they’d ever had at a wedding and wanted to know who we’d worked with so they could use them in the future.All of the staff were extremely friendly, kind, and attentive to both us and our guests; they kept the food coming and the drinks flowing, and were just overall genuinely lovely to spend the day with, it created such a warm and intimate atmosphere.Working with Rich and Vanessa was the absolute best experience; by the end of our wedding, we felt as though we'd made lifelong friends. We truly cannot recommend them enough!

I came here for restaurant week after looking through the restaurant week website and searching for menu items to try. I stumbled upon Mill Creek because they had multiple desserts that sounded good on the menu. When we arrived, we noticed 2 of the 3 desserts were no longer offered. We traveled a good distance to come here and were quite disappointed by this. We let our waitress Jeanne know and she sent over the owner Rich. Rich was truly one of the most condescending, rude, and unprofessional individuals I've ever spoken to. We let him know he shouldn't advertise items on his menu that he doesn't offer. He shrugged that off and informed us that it says on the menu 'items are subject to change.' We let Rich know that most individuals aren't reading the fine print on the bottom of the menu and are focused simply on the dishes. Rich did not apologize for any inconvenience, instead he said 'It is what it is. There's worse things in life, right?" As I was replying to him, he proceeded to walk away mid conversation. This isn't acceptable for any person to do, let alone the owner of a restaurant. I felt extremely disrespected. It's amazing that an owner could be so rude to a table who spent $200+ that night. I've already spread the word regarding this experience and will 100% never come back to this place. I would like to say that our waitress Jeanne was extremely understanding and gave us a few good laughs regarding the experience. Hats off to you Jeanne for somehow working alongside such a lowlife owner. Thanks for trying to make our experience a little better.

This place is an absolute gem. Got a surprise when I got there and realized it was happy hour, so I got half priced appetizer - which I had as my meal. That kung pao cauliflower is out of this world! Packed with flavor and a great portion size! Bartender was great and it's got all the qualities of a nice, hometown bar/restaurant.

We have been visiting Mill Creek Tavern for many years. I can honestly say we always enjoy the our visit. The food is good, staff is friendly and professional, the restaurant has a comfortable environment. I would recommend Mill Creek Tavern to anyone.
