This restaurant has been around for a long time which means it can use an update but I still LOVE it. It reminds me of grandma's. Good food is hard to find at reasonable prices.

This is my fourth business trip to the United States and I live in Fishkill. This is my first time to visit the farm market in Beacon. I stopped by this restaurant for lunch. The dining environment is clean, there are not many tables, but the business is very good, and the meal takes a long time. , I ordered 2 pork chops today. The fried pork chops were a bit hard. There is a huge opportunity for improvement in the handling of the ingredients.

Anyone discrediting this place is most likely a Karen it’s family owned and you’ll see the same people working everytime you go in, one of the only original places still on main st in beacon everything’s made fresh so yes there will be a wait from time to time for good reason obviously and the prices are quite fair compared what other places charge now a days

Came in randomly for a snack and the food is super amazing! The chicken wings are some of the best I’ve ever eaten, remarkably delicious. So perfectly seasoned, so gently breaded and fried. And the collard greens, also wonderful.
The food is very good.I don't know why they don't give you corn bread with the meal?? You have to pay additional if you want it.

Worst restaurant in town!We were visiting Beacon, NY for the first time, and this location was practically across the street from our apartment. We went there to test their meal and as soon as we stepped in, no one served us or paid us any attention; we had to pick a seat ourselves, which wasn't a major concern until the waitress didn't arrive to take our order for around 25-30 minutes. Then they were really impatient taking orders, as they chose who to go serve and who got their food first. We placed our order at 1:55 (1 blt sandwich and 1 fried chicken sandwich), and I'm waiting for someone to ask about my order at 2:45, I'm looking for someone to ask about my order and we are completely ignored, despite the fact that we were genuinely starving and the business was not even busy, so they have no excuse. We left at 2:55 p.m. without eating because we were once again completely ignored.It's a shame how they handle their business, especially given their good reputation for cuisine! We had hoped to have our first meal at this restaurant before leaving town, but we couldn't wait more than an hour for only two sandwiches.
