This is the best restaurant in Beacon! The food is always amazing, and I really love their creativity. Every month or so the menu changes and they develop incredible new dishes around a different type of cuisine or theme. Staff is super nice too - vibe is always perfect. Also, Bree is an incredible bartender. Can’t recommend her cocktails enough!Vegetarian options: If you tell them you’re vegetarian ahead of time they will prepare vegetarian versions in place of each meat course.Dietary restrictions: They’ve happily accommodated requests for vegetarian food or eliminating a certain ingredient due to a food aversion. Really appreciate that so that everyone can enjoy the pre-fixe menu.

Never disappointed by the well thought out tasting menus and wine pairings. If you get the opportunity to check it out, you definitely should.

Went here for Valentine's Day, our first dining out date. I usually cook on this day but decided to venture out and see what's out there. Was intrigued what KSS had to offer and decided to do the chef's tasting menu. They are only open for supper on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The place is intimate and the tasting menu was presented on the table with the optional wine pairing. From the moment we had the first bite, it was just an experience. Bite after bite was a delight for our taste buds. Although the ingredients were familiar, the taste was not. It truly needed the attention of your taste buds to enjoy each bite. You don't know what you don't know and each bite of this course was phenomenal. The pork that was served was a cross breed of an Iberico and Berkshire hog (I was told) from a natural farm. That parsnip puree and its sauce was unlike I've ever tasted. I literally wanted to lick that plate clean. The meat may have been overcooked as it was a little hard to cut into it. If you want to experience a Chef's tasting locally at Beacon, head to their website for reservations and check out the menu.

I cannot give this place enough praise. The thought that goes into each dish for each menu is amazing. The staff are all incredibly warm and welcoming when you enter. The seating arrangement is interesting at first but becomes homey when you get to speak with the guests next you. While I have no dietary restrictions or allergies, I've seen them be very considerate in accommodating any needs for the night. We will continue to come back for each rotation of menus.

Kitchen Sink catered a lake day lunch during our wedding weekend and it did not disappoint! We wanted something light and fresh, and we wanted to support a local business given our venue was in Cold Spring. They made the menu planning fun, the sandwiches and salads were delicious, and the drop-off catering went off without a hitch.I'd recommend them for your catering needs. Thank you Jeff & team!

We went with another couple for a weekend trip to Beacon. We picked Beacon because there is good golf (Centennial and Union Vale) and good food in the area, such as the Kitchen Sink Supper Club. To be honest, we were not optimistic when we first sat down because the chef explained that the seasonal tasting would be a "celebration of tomatoes." I had selected this restaurant based on online reviews so I felt horrible because my wife and the other couple do not really like tomatoes. Fortunately for me, they were all willing to give it a shot; although, they did really have a choice since we had to prepay for the meals when we made the reservation. Interestingly enough and fortunately for them, this "celebration of tomatoes" did not mean that every dish was tomato-forward in taste or presentation. In fact, the presence of the tomatoes was barely noticeable in a few dishes such as in the ceviche and the salad. I am usually not a fan of ceviche but I really enjoyed this one because of the corn 3-ways and the scallops. It just goes to show that you should not dismiss this place just because you do not usually like the dishes on their seasonal menu; you should give them a shot. One of the dishes in their regular menu is an MLT: mackerel (!) bacon, tomato and greens on a brioche. Luckily, this was changed that night to a delicious creamy tomato soup. The only thing missing was a grilled cheese sandwich to dip but with so many courses, we were probably better off without it. The stars of the night were the inside out ravioli and the Wagyu beef steak tomato. As the name implies, the tomato sauce was inside the ravioli and it was quite the flavor bomb. The wagyu steak cubs with accompanying tomato cubes were perfectly cooked and so well seasoned, and the cubes complemented each other perfectly. I did not know what to expect from a tomato dessert but as with a couple of other dishes, you could not really tell there were tomatoes in there, which was just fine for my fellow diners because they were tomatoed out at that point.

My dinner was spoiled by a service error. While the server apologized, she neither offered to make things right nor asked how she could. In detail, we were a party of three; as entrees, I ordered maitake, my companions scampi and lamb tagine. The server first brought the scampi and maitake, but misidentifying the maitake, announced it as the tagine and placed it in front of my companion who had ordered tagine; my companion, not knowing what to expect, naturally started eating when I encouraged everyone not to wait for me to get my food. When the server came back a couple of minutes later with the lamb and put it in front of me, I immediately saw and pointed out the mistake. But by that time my own entree looked like someone else's leftovers, and perhaps a quarter of what was always ever going to be a dainty portion was now gone. If I'd initiated a fuss, say by sending my food back to the kitchen, that would have embarrassed my companions. And the staff knew I was a vegan, so I was never just going to have some of my companion's lamb to round out my dinner. So beyond missing the pleasure of seeing the presentation, I actually walked out the restaurant hungry despite ordering a $39 entree. It's worth noting that this establishment always includes the service charge in the bill. BTW, the dish was delicious.

Kitchen Sink was 5/5 on food and service - delicious and interesting courses with something for everyone in our party of varying dietary needs. The presentation of the dishes was informative and considerate, and there wasn't a single item that left us unimpressed. On the more challenging side: our group had a huge problem with the sound ambiance in the restaurant. There was no sound dampening in the room, so normal conversation from the six tables led to a cacophony that even a group of people in their 20s and 30s could barely converse over. The music was also all over the map - we heard the same dropkick Murphy's song twice in a row? - and would jump from hip hop to jazz to whatever else was on some random Spotify playlist.Amazing food but wouldn't go back without a change in the ambiance for this price point. It was tough to pay for a really nice meal but not actually get to connect with each other.

Cute restaurant with ok food. We had the carrot salad and caponata which was ok. The shrimp scampi with bucatini lacked garlic and seasoning -- the shrimp was bland. Although the pasta was nicely al dente, it did not seem like it absorbed the sauce. Perhaps it was not tossed. It was pretty soupy. The best thing we had was the bolognese. The sauce and pasta were integrated well and the dish was tasty, well seasoned, with deep tomato and venison flavor.

Food was just ok. The restaurant smelly and the patio behind dirty and full of bugs. Unfortunately, a disappointment.

OUTSTANDING!!! ( I travelled from London in part to go to this restaurant ) - The theme this visit inspired by in-season tomatoes. Their tasting menu came with a short description of each plates ingredients and source by the chef! Also, most ingredients locally sourced. Be quick to catch this theme as they change themes every 4/5 weeks.
