Simple burger spot in Beacon - stopped by to eat a well deserved burger after a long hike. I got the single Dutch Burger ($11) and some fries ($3.50) to go. I loved all the veggies in the burger; lots of spring salad mix, tomatoes, slivered onions and lots of pickle slices. It was a pretty messy burger though, lots of water was on the bottom of my to-go container and the toppings kept on falling out. I thought the patty was a bit on the smaller side and the fries were way too soggy, but overall a decent spot!

Meh, another disappointing Beacon food joint. Single dutch burger and a grilled chicken sandwich w/side of fries $30. Each was missing or had something it wasn't supposed to. I really want to like this place, but inconsistency, slapped together meals, and order mistakes make it difficult.

M.o.d was very good! Almost every store recommended MOD so we had to go and try it. The meat of the burger was tasty! You don't always get that in meat. My mom had the chicken sandwich which she said was also very tasty! This is not a sit down and order type restaurant. You order at the counter and find a place to sit, they then bring the food to you. It was very nice. The restaurant is small and quaint, I highly recommend.

If we travel up anywhere near the Beacon area we stop at "MOD" we can not NOT!!! We love the Double Dutch (but we do get the single) BECAUSE we also order the Crispy Chicken Sandwich! with the pimento cheese!!!! BOMB! They have daily specials also, and they have a citrus fizz drink!!! YUM YUM YUM!!!! The atmosphere is chill and you can dine in or out. Service, thumbs up!!! Like I said, if you're near Beacon NY you must try!
just want to say the environment is so friendly and homey-town-feeling. clearly the staff works fast and efficient, i think his name is steve and i dont know the lady's name but both of them are so kind and fun to be around, i see them interact with customers a lot while getting their work done and i think their personalities plus being well trained are what make the whole place so cozy! it's rare these days to find places like this. im not even from beacon and i was shy lol, but i didnt feel like a stranger. p.s. if you like reading books in busy environments instead of a library, this is a nice place for that lol :D fries r great and the menu is creative! 5 mins drive is a beautiful park by the water too
