“Carla Marla has so many different flavors of ice cream and specialty sundaes/milkshakes that you are sure to find the right sweet treat for you! I loved how the building resembled a candy store from the 1900s, with shelves and buckets filled with all sorts of candies. I got to try their mint flavor, birthday bash, and cookie dough and everything was so good. It reminded me of childhood flavors which was very nice. I definitely want to go back to try their floats and specialty sundaes!“
“Super glad this restaurant is still open during Covid!! It's my family's top spot to go to for Chinese food! They even follow guidelines for safety and protection for the customers. Not only is the service absolutely amazing but the food is top tier. We always order the general tso's chicken, beef and broccoli, lo mein and fried rice and it never disappoints! We've also given other items on the menu a try which have been amazing every time. If you're in the area and looking for a new Chinese spot, THIS is it! Though the area may not be the nicest, it is a hidden gem.“
“The most delicious Mexican food I have eaten on Long I since I moved to New York from California 40 years ago!!It is fresh, inventive, well-prepared and nicely presented and divine. This is not your run of the mill rice and beans tacqueria that everyone on Long Island settles for. This is real authentic Mexican, the way it should be.My friend and I ordered margaritas which were perfectly bright, refreshing and served the way they're supposed to be served. The tortilla chips were fresh and the salsa had just the right amount of zing.We ordered the Empanada Mariscos appetizer, a seafood empanada appetizer which was very fresh and delicious. My friend ordered the Enchiladas Campenchano, which looked so delicious, I asked to taste the sauce. She wasn't as familiar with Mexican food. But she absolutely loved it and can't wait to come back. Amazing. Guess what I am ordering on my next visit?!I ordered the mole enchiladas. Can I say OMG!!! Rich, complex, and wonderfully silky and excellent, the mole was perfectly prepared and presented, as it should be, on corn tortillas filled with tender, juicy chicken. The Mexican chocolate in the sauce absolutely sang. Incredible. I had goosebumps!! It tasted like more.Since we were celebrating a birthday we ordered Coffe Flan!! Melt in your mouth, indescribably rich and delicious!!! It was light and smooth with just the perfect amount of coffee flavor. Succulent. The staff surprised my friend with a generous piece of tres leches with a candle on it, and they sang happy birthday to her. She was thrilled.Summary: The ambiance is bright and festive. The service is attentive and warm. The cuisine (yes, cuisine) was incredibleTlhe prices, for this level and quality, were just right and worth every penny.Bottom line: We cannot wait to go back.By the way, they also serve brunch!!“
“This spot used to be the Patchogue bean but has been UPGRADED! The funky monkey coffee was so good (chocolate and banana mmm) I can back again today to have it! Not pictured was my HUGE crossing that was so so buttery and flaky, it was a little hard BUT the taste was there regardless and bread is bread, I see it and im happy. This is one of my new favorite coffee shops. Plenty of parking in the back and they're open pretty late! Highly recommend this spot. It's a little dark but they offer lamps and I loved the music and service provided. If you haven't tried it, give it a shot!“
“I recently started a Meetup group for craft beer lovers and we visited Freedom last night. What an awesome place! The brews are absolutely fabulous! The owners were gracious, friendly and lots of fun. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended. Their product is superior.“
“CASH ONLY. This place was recommended to us a while back but on our first venture it was closed! Whoopsie closed on Sundays. Today we learned cash only. It is also a walk up window only. Customer service A+ let us run to an ATM and still put order in. You wait in your car and your items are hand delivered to your window. We tried some stuffed biscuits and they are as fabulous as claimed. And two double cappuccinos with mocha sauce, also delectable. Bonus they offer a punch card, after so many visits a free beverage! With their great service and friendly faces we will definitely visit again... perhaps even sit outside when it is a bit warmer!“
“I have never been to a brewery before and I thought that since this one is local I would give it a try. It is a cozy, welcoming area for people who enjoy this type of scenery! I have been here with friends and with my fiancé. I would definitely come here again!“
“The staff here are so amazing and helpful! I didn’t know what to get but the drink they recommended was so delicious! They made sure I liked the drink before I left and said they would remake my drink if I did not like it. Excellent customer service! And amazing music!“
“Can't say enough about Terence and his crew (especially Kim!). Great vibe, nice people, fun decor (and talented art work that rotates monthly on the walls). There is always a fun movie playing, when there isn't some game show or trivia night...but that's cool too! Never disappointed and always happy we went!“
“I carried out my proposal to my fiancée at Loughlin Vineyard recently. Patricia was tremendous in helping me out. She opened the Vineyard early for me and my fiancée so we could share our special moment alone. She also had an amazing setup ready for us when we arrived. On top of all this, the wine, the tasting room and vineyards were all amazing. We cannot wait to return. Thanks Patricia for everything!“
“My Wife and I were looking for a new spot to go to that we haven't been before. We think we found it. It was very quaint sat in the back corner a large party came in which made it a little less “” quiet “but nothing the restaurant could do about that, we really had a nice time and our server was extremely friendly and didn't rush us at all. We don't get out often without our kids so we wanted to take our time and have a nice night. Thank you very much for the wonderful experience. Can't wait to come back.“
“I found this place after visiting Sayville on business and seeing my “normal” spot closed, gave this place a try. Ignore the lower rating. These nice owners just took over the business Sept 2023. You can order any egg sandwich with bagel or roll options. They also have omelettes, pancakes and baked goods. Prices and service are both very good. The staff is very friendly. The quality of the food is outstanding - had the egg bagel special one day and a Western Omelette the next. The omelette comes with a bagel all for only $7.99. This will be my new “go to” bagel / breakfast place when I am in town. I highly recommend you give them a try. Look at the reviews since they have owned it from Sept 2023 to current day.“
“I just wanted to say thank you so much.. We had my son's 50th Birthday there.. Brad, Dave and Laurie were so gracious and so very helpful... There is no kitchen but they have no issue with bringing in food.. Would have another event there in a heartbeat.. thank you all.. ❤️“
“The service was absolutely wonderful! Super attentive and offered great menu suggestions (Samoa and rainbow cookie coffees were delicious) . The food was amazing and so filling!! No one was able to finish their meals because the portions were generous. Will definitely be coming back!!!Kid-friendliness: 1-2 year old seats available“
“Visiting a friend in a nearby town and we decided to come here for lunch. Spacious brewery with a nice sized menu and non-beer drink options. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Ids are checked at the door and there's a ton of merch items at the door as well. Shirts, stickers, and you can even take a sic pack to go. The space is dog friendly, but as with any public dog friendly space, not everyone's pups have the same training so just be mindful of your dog interacting with others. We ordered the burger, chicken poppers, thai chili cauliflower, and salmon bites. All were very good and tasted fresh. For drinks we got the mango hard tea, blueberry ale, and my friend got a bunch of 5oz pours. They don't have set flights but you can do 5oz pours of any of their beers which is cool to be able to customize and taste what you want! The mango hard tea definitely tasted more like a hard seltzer but it was still nice. There's also various games to play like fooseball and shuffleboard on the floor. We came for lunch and there was a live band starting in the evening as we were leaving. Based off of the flyers all around, they seems to have lots of events as well. Definitely would come back if I'm in the area.“
“Great soda related products, accessories syrups etc open to the public. Having grown up,in the area I am very familiar with the taste of these products. The staff is friendly customer focused and the prices are fair and reasonable. If you have a soda stream or a home soda fountain you need to visit this place.“
“I'm giving these guys 4 stars because the food was hot (albeit, I live around the corner), and as far as fish and chips goes, it was actually very good. The fish was hot and crispy, and the fries were WAYYYYY above average. But then again, I live around the corner. If they couldn't get it to me correct....well.But they did. So I am glad to have a place nearby. Good luck to you Mastic Beach Snack Bar!!! I hope you turn out to be a huge success!!!“
“I enjoyed the entire experience. Staff was friendly. Customers as well. Will definitely go back. I had the lobster roll which was overflowing with lobster and very tender and fresh. Can’t remember the name of the mixed drink. But it was good as well.“
“Great froyo flavor selections. I went with the lf vanilla and strawberry. Was very impressed with the creaminess of the froyo, very tasty despite being low fat. Owner was very cool, helped my wife sample some ice cream flavors and was helpful with topping selections. Will definitely be going back. Prices are a bit higher than other froyo places I’ve visited, but I don’t mind paying if it’s worth it. Definitely worth coming here and spending a bit more.“
“HAD LUNCH, SEAFOOD WAS FRESH AND TASTY, I ENJOYED EVERY MOUTHFUL OF THE LOBSTER, PRICES ARE BELOW AVERAGE AND THE SERVICE WAS FANASTIC AND I APPRECIATED MANAGEMENT/OWNER GOING AROUND TO SEE EVERYTHING WAS FINE, HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR THAT SEAFOOD CRAVING AND THEY HAVE A GREAT BAR MENU AS WELL.“
“My significant other and I went to The Pine Grove Inn on Thursday before seeing “In The Heights” at Gateway Playhouse. We have eaten there a number of times since Michael (the new owner) took it over. The staff has always been super nice and helpful and the food is always great! This past time I had the Weiner Schnitzel (veal), which is always my “go to” and my significant other had the sauerbraten, but best of all, they had a “four course meal” (appetizer each, soup each, entree and a dessert each) for $53. I was told they were going to add a glass of beer to the offer. That’s a real “home-run”! Enjoyed everything we had and still had to bring some home of the entrees and most of the desserts! Will definitely continue going there!!“
“Decent and delicious. Will definitely be back.UPDATE.Come here at least twice a month cause my cousin runs the barber shop next door. Food has always been good and reasonably priced. Just be sure who's making it. If I would have looked today before I left I would have returned it. Small, sloppy and absolutely nothing on it. Just check your food. Cook tonight needs to go.“
“I’ve been going here for over 10 years and always enjoyed my experience. The food is consistently getting better. Combine that with the atmosphere and you can’t lose. This is an old charming building which smartly has no tv sets, great atmosphere, candles on the table, table cloths, etc. I think you will love it.“
