First time guest and will definitely come back. The first impression is dealing that parking is a challenge and that the place was packed. As we arrived for our 6:30 Open Table reservation, my wife and I were seated right away despite the busyness. Had the joy of meeting our server Renie (hope I spelled it right) and she was absolutely fantastic on attitude, knowledge and timeliness. Having had gastric sleeve surgery, I couldn't eat more than a few bites of my Shrimp Spectacular (in photo) but she was very attentive to make sure that we were not displeased with our meal because of how little we ate.I am not a seafood junkie so my food opinion here may not be the best but the shrimp spectacular was perfect for my palate. My wife (who enjoys seafood far more than I), who had the combination platter, absolutely loved the food.So if Renie gets word of this review, please be sure to share with her that WE WILL BE BACK!!!!

Everything was delicious as usual! Grace was our server, she was excellent, Thai Calamari was amazing as well as the Caesar salad, lamb chops, shrimp and surf and turf dinner. Omg almost forgot the garlic bread. We will definitely be back soon. Traveling from Queens definitely worth the trip!!!

We visited this restaurant twice now, and each time the food and service were outstanding. It's a little noisy but that's because the place is filled! Best restaurant in the area. Love this place.

We came here based on the reviews, but unfortunately it did not meet expectations. We got the combination seafood platters. Only the calamari was tasty. Mussels, clams, scallops were all overcooked and bland. Sides also overcooked with no flavor. There was no sweetness to the meat, nor any taste of the sea. If you are satisfied with quantity over quality, this is the place for you. We will not be returning.

So consistently good. Never disappointed, food always taste good, servings are big, and staff is always nice.
We go here often and have never had a bad meal. We've tried many different items on the menu. Everything is absolutely delicious. This evening we got the overstuffed lobster without bacon. They were very accommodating. We also got a special they had which was lobster tail scallops, and shrimp. Delicious and so much food

Fantastic place with a very nice atmosphere and helpful waitstaff to eat superb seafood. My new GF and I went there for our first date and it was a huge hit. Neither of us had ever been there before, but rest assured, we will be going back many times!

Very good food at Popei's starting with their garlic+ bread. I had the lobster and shrimp stuffed penne in vodka sauce - hearty, tender, perfectly cooked seafood without that rubbery feeling in a fantastically creamy sauce. I sliced my stuffed penne into diagonal strips and every bite was amazing. Others had the crab leg and steak special; crab wasn't as good as my shrimp and lobster being a little over-boiled perhaps but the skirt steak had great flavor and chew. Most entrées hovered around $30. Would absolutely return.Note they have valet parking due to its popularity and limited parking space - so bring some small bills.
