This is not a review of Dos Rios, which I can't give because the restaurant was CLOSED!! Not just for the night, but for months previous. The fact that Open Table still had them on its website is shameful and ridiculous. We were in town for my son's graduation and booked a reservation at Dos Rios . Reservations were hard to get for that night, and we were stuck without a reservation. Luckily, my son knew of another Mexican place nearby called Hacienda, which had great food. If you are thinking of using Open Table to make a reservation at Dos Rios, call the restaurant first to see if they are actually open, you can't depend on Open Table, as I found out.

Made reservations weeks in advance. Came in from out of town for the night only to find out the restaurant was closed on a Friday night. No notes on the door explaining why, no calls to let us know they would need to cancel the reservation. Would have been nice to know before we made the overnight accommodations that it would be closed.

My daughter was visiting Binghampton U as an accepted student tis weekend. We thought we'd try the restaurant as she and I love our Mexican food. Loved, loved, loved this place. Food choices are excellent. Service awesome! If she attends, I know we will visit often over the next 4 years, at least when mom comes to visit!

I drive all the way from Syracuse to enjoy this food. I moved to NY from TX and this is the closest to Authentic I have ever had so far from the TX Mexico boarder. Good job! We will continue to make the drive for authentic Mexican food! The staff is AMAZING TOO, Very attentive......nothing but good things to say about this restaurant

My son and I ordered smothered chicken burritos. They were amazing! However, I did ask if we could add chips and the waiter said they will come with chips. They came with no chips. I asked her about them and she said they don't come with chips when you get them smothered. First of all, you knew what we ordered and said they WILL come with chips. Secondly, you pay extra to have them smothered so why would that exclude the chips???

Had to keep ordering water because every glass that they gave me had a bug in it. After the 5th time, I gave up and just ate me food with no drink. Will never go there again.

There food is okay (really okay). But you will have to wait forever for your food and people to get your check unless you know one of the waitresses... A lot of the waitresses are just talking to their friends dining in the restaurant. We waited almost an hour to call our server over because she was busy chatting with different people. The attitude was also super bad. I liked the food but the service was just not good. And it happened twice...

There have been numerous allegations of assault and other unspeakable events that have been alleged to have happened and if even one is true this place should be shut down and a new place should be able to be opened where people can feel safe. I recommend you go anywhere else. The fact they are reopening is disgusting
Always great food, great service, and awesome atmosphere! Loved the birthday surprise they did for my special guy, great fun! They did great serving our party of ten and keeping us all happy.

Better than the reviews would lead you to believe. Our fav is the Buffalo shrimp appetizer (pictured). Steak burrito bowl was a little dry -- I prefer the actual burrito, which I've had many times. Tequila menu is most certainly the best in the city. And the birthday celebrations are club bottle worthy!
