Super fun dive bar, apparently has been open forever. Went for a Halloween party and made tons of friends, hahaha. Would go again! Drink prices are super reasonable. I wanted to get the "Gouda-est burger" sounds like a burger of the day name from Bob's Burgers... and also sounds delicious!! Would deffinetly go back, even though the bathrooms are suuuuuper outdated, the stall doors are wonky, and the toilet leans to the left...Parking: Lots on both sides.

I only intended to go in for 1 beer, but the bartender and regular customers were friendly and suddenly I'm on my 4th beer. Even though I was alone, I enjoyed myself with total strangers that didn't treat me like a stranger!!!

Manager lady have been rude since the first day I started going. Usually I would just go somewhere else but small towns don’t have many places. . No way I’m going back there again. Good doesn’t taste fresh at allllll and management is disrespectful to customers and staff in plain daylight in front of everyone. Just tired of it. This place sucks
The Belmar is a dive but that's what's fun about it. The food is a lot of your typical bar fare but it's good and decently priced. They have Coors Banquet on draft which is great, not too many bars in the area do. Not the most modern place but the Belmar is a place where most likely you'll meet someone new and strike up a conversation. My friends and I always tend to have some sort of memory or story from a night at the Belmar which makes it a worthwhile place to go.Kid-friendliness: They check IDs at the door a lot of nights and even if they didn't, I wouldn't bring a kid to the Belmar at night at least.

Went here as far back as 2003, and visit anytime I am in town for the wings and the burger (not to mention the very interesting cast of characters on both sides of the bar!)This place just oozes west side dive bar. Class? That's for students. Try the food, do some shots, and talk to anyone that wants to chat. Absorb the vibe, there's only one Belmar.
