“We came to eat indoors at Oscars not realizing that the Latin food was usually for takeout. It was a quiet rainy Monday night and they let us order from that menu in their diningroom. We all shared the salad with avocados, empanadas- spinach and the eggplant with the salsa of pickled onions and peppers, tamales, garlic shrimp, sweet plantains, and arroz con pollo with tres leches for dessert. Everything was delicious like homemade and even the people at our table who are less familiar with Latin cuisine were very happy. I hope to come back soon with my family.Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian options. Not sure if the empanadas are vegan but maybe. If the rice and beans don’t use animal fat, a meal of salad, rice beans and plantains would be very satisfying.“
