Above the Rest isn't a restaurant but provides products for commercial sale. Just bought a cherry pie from Morton Williams and am writing this based on the very first bite. Excellent taste and appropriately moist filling as opposed to the paste-like substitutes on finds in the dominant NYC grocery store supplier (terrible Table Talk). At $20 it's a bit on the pricey side for a product of its type, but I do not feel cheated. I recently paid $10 fore a god-awful 6" pumpkin pie from Agata & Valentina. Draw your own conclusion.
