The quesadilla I had, was fantastic! Definitely coming back for that. Unfortunately- even on a not busy afternoon, I had to flag down the bartender for a drink every time. And it’s not as if he was busy - he was standing at the end of the bar chatting with other customers for about 10 minutes without paying attention to the other 4 people at the bar. I had to verbally try to get his attention in order to order another drink. That’s not a sign of a good bartender.

This is a good sports bar, my go to for Ranger games. It's quite loud usually, only con I have. The food and service are great for bar standards, good burgers, good drinks, bartenders are great and work fast.

Great loaded nachos, stuffed burger and fries. Good tap selection, beer was nice and cold. 2 nice big screens in the back and down the corridor...perfect for warching the games. They need a better tea selection for the those not drinking alcohol.

Ambiance - have a blast here during a football game or just hang out with your girlfriends vibing to the music (beware though - the music is so loud you can't hear yourself talk) The food is pretty good - delicious burgers, tasty chicken pesto wraps/paninis, etc. Just keep in mind that it is bar food but again, very darn good! Service - they keep the drinks coming and consistently ask if everything is okay, do we need anything else, Love this place!

Such a cool little pub, and the food was amazing!!! Blackstone is proof that bar food can be FOOD! So many amazing flavors on tap and the people behind the bar were pleasant and accommodating, no hovering just making sure your good and seeing how they can make your experience better. I live in Queens but Blackstone would be the place to make me drive the hour to the Bronx..also the owner is a friend to the community and our Veterans which speaks volumes to his character.

Quick lunch with my cousin. We opted for the outdoor seating since it was a nice day. It was a little too dark inside for me, but it is a bar so it's appropriate. They must have just opened, we were the only ones there. There were some good options on the menu but I chose to get the honey chicken sandwich with a side of bacon jam. It came with fries which were limp. I was able to find a few that were crispy and they were tasty. The bacon jam was just chopped bacon. Was missing the "jam". The sandwich was a large portion. I could only eat half and saved the other half for dinner. The bar tender was nice and helpful. Although, we only saw him when we ordered and for our food. Which was okay cause we were busy talking and enjoying our food. If I'm in the area again I'd stop by to try something else.

I have come here to order take-out on several occasions and recently had dine-in service. The service is usually slow and it seemed that day it was even slower for dine-in. We were sitting outside and the server would just disappear for long periods of time. It took us at least 15 minutes to get our drinks, another 30 minutes for the food and then still another 15 minutes to get our check. It was an hour of just waiting. I've had their wings (honey chipotle and bourbon BBQ), honey garlic shrimp, grilled cheese, and French fries. The food is decent but the wait is horrendous. I think I will stick with take-out and make sure I order ahead next time.
