So, I found this location as I was craving some Latin food while staying with a friend before I caught a flight in the evening. To my surprise, as they were not able to deliver, so I decided to take a walk to this spot. Upon arrival, I was amazed at how many options they had in terms of different types of food ranging from soul food to Latin food... the options were endless! And conveniently located across the street from the Bronx family court house! Although on the pricey side for take out, the food was pretty good and very tasty! I would definitely come back again! I just moved to the area. I have tried all the restaurants surrounding for breakfast. I walk past 4 shops to go to Chris’s. The service is always on point. The vibe is always positive. The coffee and the breakfast is just the icing on the cake. If you are ever in the area and want some good food and positive vibes check this place out

This place has some of the best food I've ever eaten.The best mac and cheese I've ever had in my entire life.Previous to eating here my favorite mac and cheese was from Amy Ruth's in Harlem, and the mac and cheese here is better by A LOT.The pernil is the best I've ever had that wasn't cooked by a relative, and I'm Dominican and Puerto Rican so I know my pernil.The produce is super fresh, very fresh tasting salad, fruit, and veggies.I am a HUGE fan. I plan to come back regularly for the mac and cheese and pernil especially.And it's very sanitary, they require you to wear gloves when serving yourself from their buffet, which is a move very few businesses make, and I greatly appreciate.I'd also like to note that I'm a very picky eater and have very high standards for food quality, because I was raised by a fantastic chef. I am very rarely so excited by eateries, even the very well reviewed ones, I'm often dissapointed and left wanting.If you're in the area, stop over for a very well priced meal, especially for the quality.It's a locally owned small business with good service and fantastic food, sanitary, fresh, good prices, there's nothing more you could ask for.I would reccomend it to literally anyone.

This is honestly a 4.5 review. Gone here a few times over the years , the food is mostly good, depending on the time that you go there. What i mean by that is early in the morning when the food is fresh and first put out? You are getting a wonderment. The love, the energy in this food, is guaranteed to give you a good day. After roughly 12ish, people have been here, brought the hustle and bustle of outside, a little of the love leaves. This morning I had a cuban from the pretty woman in the back,that's always here. i Haven't had a cuban like that since i moved from east new york in Brooklyn. She made this Cuban with all the craft and care in the universe, her ancestors stood over her high fiving on both her momma and her daddy's side!! This the one!!! Doesn't hurt that I always win playing lotto here. See you soon Chris's :-)

Delicious food.I went around 2 pm. I got the baked Mac and cheese, rice with gandules, chicken and ribs. The chicken had a little spice to it; just right. The ribs, I got the scraps but still good with potential to have good pieces on top. Delicious over all.
