We came to this place many years ago and it was great it was an old Italian guy that would spit out like 3 to 4 different meals what they had now it's not like that anymore I guess the old man passed or whatever and now the food is terrible I had spaghetti with burnt spaghetti sauce that was so much grease that I had agenda and my husband he has a chicken palm that must have sat underneath the heat lamp for hours because it was very dry I waited forever for a soda My recommendations would be go to Mario's Enzo's for Amelia's I'm very surprised since they have fresh fresh ingredients right outside their door in every direction sad how times have changed and this iconic restaurant once was vibrant and had excellent food and service but everything changes

Classic little Italy in the Bronx establishment. All around
Best Chicken Parm I've had on Arthur Ave and I've eaten at all the main restaurants on the strip. Staff was very quick and polite. The pricing was also reasonable. Will most definitely return.

I was not impressed by the meatballs and veal. Veal was very tough and chewy. So so at best.

Been eating there from 1959When I was a young boy living 3 blocks east when it was called the bus stop!
Great low key experience, tasty pasta at a good price. Can’t ask much more than that! Just be aware it’s communal seating and cash only.

Dominick's brings a certain sense of comfort with its atmosphere. The first and second floor were both small and cozy, giving a similar feel to being at someone's house. The service was excellent. They were attentive, friendly, and speedy. The food was fairly mixed in terms of flavor. While the Chicken Scarpariello and Osso Bucco special were some of the best I've ever had, I also tried 2 "Ziti" dishes which did not use Ziti. Both were served with obviously store bought Penne pasta which is not the quality I would've expected at a place this well-regarded. And worst of all the Steak, being one of the nastiest restaurant Steaks I've ever tasted. While I ordered a medium rare Steak it came out severely undercooked and had no flavor. When I asked for them to cook it more it came back well-done while looking and tasting like it was microwaved. For a $40 Steak I assumed it would be better.Overall Dominick's earns itself a 3.5/5 stars.

The guy at the front door is super friendly, and that makes the place 5☆. Bread is awesome. Food is average. The atmosphere is a bit loud, but you might be lucky to get a quiet spot if it's not too busy. CASH ONLY.
pretty good. loved the vodka penne.
