when we got to the front door of this place, the bartender came out and opened the door to welcome us. We were just going to stay for one drink, but we stayed much longer. Everybody was so friendly, and the drinks are really really generous. what a great dive bar!

I was first exposed to Glacken's in the 2000's by 2 friends of mine who are brothers and it was a tradition of theirs and their father's to "hit Glacken's" prior to Yankee games.I've realistically "hit Glacken's" about 15 times now, and make sure whoever I go to the Yankee game with experiences Glacken's prior to.Tom Glacken is a pleasure to chop it up with behind the bar and the crowd is cool too (even at 11am. LoL - 1:05 game)
