Place closes whenever they want . It says open till 9pm, the employees will close earlier than that time . Definitely should change their signs if that’s the case. Not very professional but it’s Fordham ! Update it on google too :)

TLDR: Gong Cha and Xing Fu Tang are my current top 2 boba shops! I got their earl grey milk tea 3Js (includes tapioca boba, herbal jelly, and pudding). It's like 50% toppings though. I usually get 30% sugar and light ice. This was really good but a bit sweet for my tastes. Sometimes they don't know how to process my Gong Cha giftcard so I suggest better staff training for that. What's the point of having a giftcard of I can't use it? Pro tip: It can also get VERY busy when school/work lets out. So order ahead to avoid the wait! No seats or bathroom here. I did see they started selling bubble waffles and I might try that on a future trip.

Been going here since it opened and the girl who tends to work the register at the front is always consistently rude. Meanwhile I heard her being very polite to the customers that looked older behind me. I don’t appreciate her attitude every time I enter, and if they want this location to prosper she should just be removed. The rest of the staff look just as bored to be there, further complimenting the bland and weird ambiance when you walk in, terribly awkward. Drinks are hit or miss, got the worst drink I ever had here, a simple strawberry milk tea, it made me never want to drink boba again, and I love boba. I abandoned it outside after one sip. It’s crazy one place could make me dread something I usually love. Do better and hire better staff.

This place is still great. They get very crowded after school so expect a wait. The teas still taste good and still enjoy watching them being made. If you don't like killer sweet, ask for less sweet.
3 young ladies took my order. They were super nice, friendly, helpful. They made sure my drinks were sealed correctly and that I got the drinks I wanted. Excellent service and great drinks.

LITERALLY there’s only ever 2 customers at most in the store, and yet they have workers who don’t seem to want to work ; they’re advertising a new drink but didn’t make the base to the drink , I gave this place 3 chances and was disappointed every time . I placed an order through uber eats today, the delivery person went to pick up my order and they refused to give it to him saying that they had no such order , I never received my order and still got charged for it. This was terrible customer service!

I have been meaning to try this place and finally got to do so today. I got the strawberry milk tea and it tasted amazing! Love that Fordham has a place like this to provide something different for the locals. However, I have to take off two stars because the staff was super unwelcoming. I said hello and good afternoon and all I got were blank stares. Once I got my order, I said thank you and they didn't even acknowledge me. They looked liked they didn't want to be there, honestly. That block and surrounding area has some unsavory characters for sure and I'm sure the staff gets all kinds of weirdos walking in, but at least treat the nice customers with respect and appreciation.
