Came here for the first time with some friends for restaurant week. Everything was amazing. The food was fresh & tasty. The portion sizes are good. The staff is nice & friendly. And you get an amazing view of the water.

Food and prices ok. I expected alot better quality meals from the reviews and friend comments. The clams on half shell and in other dishes were tiny and tasteless. I always give most places a second chance, so I will be back and review againParking: Many spaces right out front

The ambiance is always nice. Although it was a rainy cold day. Food was good, place was empty and we had the place to ourselves to watch the football game and chat with our waitress who was very nice.

Thought it might be a hidden gem, but I was wrong. There's not much of a view from inside the restaurant, partly due to the dirty windows and doors. Also, my gf almost got stuck inside the bathroom because the door wouldn't open. The waitress was great and the food was fresh, but we were so disappointed with the preparation of the food.Ordered white sangria and was asked if we wanted fruit. It came out in tiny glasses with no ice and huge canned peach slices. Tasted like they just added the sweet peach juice to wine.We ordered a bunch of appetizers and seafood. The calamari, french fries and shrimp were good, but the rest of the food was EXTREMELY bland. It tasted like someone stole the cooks spice rack. The stuffed mushrooms were topped with minced mushroom stems with no seasoning and or breadcrumbs, then covered in a thin red sauce that was sweet but had no flavor. The stuffed avocado sounded good, but it's really only guacamole in a avocado shell served with no chips. It had very large pcs of red onion and way too much cilantro, but we didn't taste anything else in it.The eggplant rollitini was bland and in the same sweet sauce as the mushrooms.Altogether, it could be a cute neighborhood place, but needs a really good floor to ceiling cleaning and more importantly, a cook that puts a little more effort into the food they serve!

Great - hidden gem! My son was a student at SUNY Maritime (blocks away ) and I've passed this restaurant for four years and have been wanting to try it. Never have and he's about to graduate. Now my other son is a freshman at Maritime so while dropping him off at school - we finally decided to eat here and we are so glad we did! Service is great and staff is extremely friendly! Love all of the menu choices - have lots of options and we opted for the special which included a drink, soup, salad, entree, dessert & coffee - well worth the price! The rainbow cheesecake was amazing! Love how quaint the restaurant is and you are right by the water - nice view! We will definitely be back! So glad I will be in the area for the next four years while my son's at school! Wish I tried this place sooner!

It was a nice place but the waitress didn't really pay much attention to me, she was more into the other people who look like regulars. Went to the other table about 45 times and to my table 2 times didn't even ask me if I needed anything else I've everything was OK she just dropped the stuff on the table and kept walking. In reality it was a disappointment.

This place is extremely old fashioned and in desperate need of a makeover. The menu is all over the place, drinks were disappointing from what I was told, and the food was either overcooked or undercooked. The muscles tasted dirty like they were not properly cleaned and the taste ran over i to the vegetables. Not a good dining experience at all. The location is great and it could be gem, if they had a Gordon Ramsey style rescue.

It's a neighborhood place that's family owned, nothing fancy, just great homemade Italian food and seafood. A dozen clams on the half shell for eight bucks.....can't beat that. Also, a great view of the marina and Throgs Neck Bridge. Great local gem.

What a gem of a place !Absolute best staff …really kind and helpful. The owners are super friendly.Just a great all around place .We went here by water and docked our boat …the views of the Throgs Neck Bridge are spectacular ~ we discovered the location by accident and are so happy we found it . If you’re a boater, it’s a solid dock and dine place …the waterway leading up to the Ice House is really scenic and cool.It has lots of good photo opportunities- a real New York experience ~

It’s been awhile since we stopped here while visiting my dear friend’s alma mater, The Maritime College down the streetIt’s a small fishing town vibe though the Bronx is never what you would consider small town.It felt like we were visiting a Maine coastal village.Simple good food in a mom and pop feeling restaurant. It’s a great little spot to grab a meal and chat about the past when you want to that college.

We had a really good time here. The food was wonderful--our group had something from most parts of the menu, and it was all just great! Friendly, efficient service and a nice view of the water.

I had heard nice things about this establishment and i was looking forward to a satisfying meal. However, it fell short. chicken parm was tasteless and bland. My " 5 shrimp" yes only 5 shrimps !!! scampi over too much linguine lacked taste and oily Shirmp sadly over cooked. 3 min less would have made a difference. , maybe. good points : attentive waiter/server cold beer tasty garlic bread. Wasnt worth the gas..... sorry
