It was the worst burger I ever had in my life. The lettuce was old the burger was dry and burnt. The tomato was old and soggy. The fries was soft and mushy. I would never buy any food from there again. McDonald’s would have been a better choice. I at least know what I’m getting

Abbys Baddies

This may have been the worse restaurant experience in my life. We waited super long for a hostess Angelica to continuously sit people who arrived after us when I asked she said it was because my party of 4 was too large. But the people of lighter skin than me and my family were seated.We could see tables open. We finally got seated near the restroom which was so smelly the odor was in the dining room. Every time some one went in or out the bathroom area the smell hit. I couldn't after that long wait we asked to speak to the manager who was very unreasonable and very unkind unfair un professional you name it. He started yelling loudly in the store that the tables were assigned to servers and we would have to wait for another table if we wanted to be moved , look we just left. It was obvious that the place was understaffed and the staff they do have isn't so bright. They need a maintenance worker at this location definitely wouldn't recommend going there.

Today I witness a staff member name Brenna being rude and telling customers to leave. When a manger was requested by the name (Melissa) she exhibited the same attitude. They are RUDE, DISREPECTFUL and Dismissive. If they don't like their jobs, go fine another and stop Projecting your misery onto others.

The food was amazing but my waitress was even more amazing. Haydee was great, she made sure that my daughter enjoyed her meal. Her customer service was amazing she was very attentive and served us with a beautiful. I will definitely be returning for some steak and my daughter for her eggs.

It’s unfortunate that I have to rate this place two stars. Because my first time there I had the most amazing service ever. The waiter was very efficient in seating us ,taking our orders and the food was very good. While having 6 other customers mind you this was at 3:00 am in the morning he made sure everyone was comfortable throughout this entire time. In contrast when my friend and I arrived at the establishment the second time, it took us a good minute to get Jonathan R’s attention. We had mobile ordered before getting there so we can get the food earlier as there is a specific time for us to stop eating this particular day. He refused to seat us supposedly “if you buy online you can’t dine in” which wasn’t posted anywhere in the restaurant nor was it stated in the website or app. So my friend and I decided to order drinks in the restaurant. Same thing he said “it doesn’t work like that and he would get in trouble for seating us.” We explained what happened last time and he said that happened because the manager wasn’t there. We asked to speak to the manager and he said he wasn’t present at the time and would be mad if he was woken up because of that. Plus on top of that my order was wrong.

It's clean, the staff is good, and the food is what you would expect of an IHOP. While that isn't anything new I have to say that considering its location it's a surprising find. I would have never thought an IHOP would pop up here in Mott Haven, in the past I would have driven across the Bronx or even left the city to get to one.Seating was fast. So were the services. Can really find any reason to hate.

I truly want to take the time to thank you for my experience, Haydee and John took really great care of me and IHop is a pastime from my childhood, that particular day I needed to just feel good and at home. From the moment I walked in they greeted me, there was another customer in front of me so I had to wait and John further expressed what was going on and that he would be with me shortly. I needed the experience that I had back home in the big city ( I'm from Atlanta) and I stayed until they closed. As I was being taken care of I noticed that they were as accommodating and present with all of the other customers that were there. I just want to say thanks for such a wonderful experience. I traveled from Harlem to get this experience and I was shocked and delighted that I was able to be received and receive such wonderful service.Thanks you once again,Sincerely,Steven B Walters

It's true what they say about this place being a bad experience. After ordering through Uber Eats and receiving a few missing items, I decided to go to the restaurant myself. Unfortunately, they were not able to rectify the mistake and suggested I report a refund through the app. As I looked around, I overheard a waiter joking say someone is going to be missing items in an order laughing. When they called out a name, I realized it was mine. I jokingly told them to keep the food and that I would just request a full refund through the app before leaving. This establishment could benefit from new employees who are committed to their work rather than goofing off.

I was somewhat disappointed in the food. I hadn't had IHOP in a while so normally it should of tasted like it was my first time trying IHOP ,but nawwwww☹️54I ordered chocolate pancakes with strawberries and cream, bacon, ham and hash browns and while the pancakes were alright, the hash brown tasted like plastic and for dessert I had the cinnamon dippers. And boy was I extremely disappointed with the dessert and they claim to have caramel sauce and cream cheese icing on the side but there was no side anything for dipping and when I asked "Where was i the caramel sauce?" I was told the lightly little drizzle on the side of the plate was the supposedly caramel dipping sauce and to add insult to injury it wl tasted like eating really bad beignets. IHOP is a restaurant that should not be easily led to disappointment to me as far as restaurants and food goals go. 1On the other hand although this location is in the Bronx, E149th Street it was easy to find, we were seated very quickly, the atmosphere wasn't bad at all and the waitress that served us was on point and definitely earned her tip and then some. Soooooo, I will eventually get that damn IHOP cravings again, deciding to go back specifically to this one again and pray for a better cook day. The cook could of had a bad day, so I will keep you posted and with pics.

There were 4 of us on a Monday at 11 am. The service was very good and the pancakes, scrambled egg, bacon and sausage were delicious as always. There were many people waiting to pick up an order, but we were served quickly. There were very few people eating in the premises.
