I enjoy coming for brunch. I love the fact that brunch ends at 8p as dont always have the schedule to get somewhere by 4p. My fav is the lamb chops with truffle mash and the brown stew snapper over rice n peas. Both are my go to meals.

Just came here for the first time after being in the area and hungry. Note - I'm from uptown BX and have been a connoisseur of jerk for over 30 years.Initially, I tried ordering in advance through DoorDash but even though it said I could pick 2 sides, there was no option to pick anything, so I went in person.Upon entering at 7:30pm, there was no customers and I wondered could this be a bad sign. The heavyset woman behind the bar had the most offending demeanor and treated me as if I was interrupting her sleep.Said woman asked me my order and I recited it to her, however she did not take a note or even type anything on the computer, and I recalled thinking if her memory was excellent. After she appeared to listen to me, she then slowly walked over to the computer and asked me to run it all by her again, and I felt as if I were in slow motion because she again was acting like she just woke up.I was told to come back in 20 minutes, and I remarked the experience of the DoorDash ordering issue, to which she stated it does work, I was the one doing something wrong. So, I opened up the app to show her the same steps I initally followed, and her reply was simply "oh".Now, comes the food: Jerk Chicken, rice & peas(oxtail gravy on top) and cabbage. The chicken was a bit tender however it tasted like they used Walkerswood Jerk seasoning, and an excessive amount to that point. The rice & peas were a darker color than usual and was gummy. The cabbage was good, however I literally received a small cat food can portion.I don't expect excellent customer service from a Jamaican restaurant, but this was by far the worst experience I have ever received.P.S. - The bar looked attractive and I guarantee that is what most people go there for - drink and hear loud distorted music from their subpar sound system. Y'all can most certainly do better and I would NEVER recommend.P.P.S. - Sorry I failed to post a pic of the food, I was starving.

Very nice place.. the bartender Tyianna is very sweet she made our drinks very strong but very good! Food was fresh and so good..I was seated and served in less then 15 minutes. The owner and the chef comes around and asks how we like the food and talks to every single guest in the establishment.. I felt like family! I would recommended going on karaoke night that’s when I went and I had a ball.. this was my 4th time here and this time I drove a hour from New Jersey for the food…

I am disgusted and frustrated. On November 29,2023 I Ordered 3 Patties. 2 chicken and 1 beef. I feel like it says a lot about an establishment if you can get beef patties wrong because You can't go wrong with that right? (Please refer to the pictures and videos)The Meat was old and the crust was super hard like it was left out there to dehydrate. The meat inside was congealed. But the patty itself was hot. When I called to find an understanding, a woman answered the phone and was so rude. Told me to come back to talk to the manager. I don't like making reviews so easily so I went to go talk to the manager, they said he was not there. So I called everyday for 5 days and they refused to give the phone to the manager. I'm leaving this here all to say I got food poisoning the next day. Please do better with your food and especially with your waiters. She was rude and this could have been fixed easily but chose violence instead

Wonderful atmosphere if you enjoy half naked women and underage drinkers. I made the mistake of ordering off an app and they didn’t give me anything. Had the pleasure of standing around for 15-20 minutes. I’d recommend going here if you have a few bucks to waste on cheap alcohol, non cleaned hookah and horrible day. Plenty of other places to go. Would not Recommend going here for any occasion. The music was terrible, I’ve heard better remixes in retirement homes. Honestly I rather be mugged by a white guy than come here again.
Amazing 10/10 experience. Popped in the other night for the first time to get some drinks & food with my sister and had a the most amazing time. Our bartender was a lovely soul. She and someone who appeared to be the manager ensured that we had an amazing night!! very attentive and kind. Food/Drinks were great ?Music was on point ?cute cozy atmosphere ..it’s hard to find a good Caribbean spot in the Bronx with good eats/drinks and dancehall/reggae music that stays open late. Plus excellent service? This spot is a gem. Absolutely coming back !

The place was clean and the bartender/server was nice my issue was with drink and food! The mango margarita tasted real thick like syrup more sugar than tequila. Also the food Oxtail Rice and Peas did not taste like Authentic Jamaican food. The Oxtails were small and dry. Taste more like American styled Oxtail. I was disappointed to say the least.
