Heard a lot about Khalil Biryani House and thought to check it out. Let's just say I will not be going back. Nobody was wearing a mask or gloves. People at the counter was touching everything and then touching the food. We went there to order biryani, but just ended up ordering just tea, which was ok. The staffs there are not the friendliest. There are so many restaurants on Starling Ave, that I will not be coming back to this one.

Poor service experienced!! I was on the line to place an order staff at counter keep taking order for people who’s ordering from the door. I asked them to take my order because I been on line about 10 minutes! Guy at counter replay me back saying this isn’t 10 minutes, I simply walked out. This place has good food but I’m very disappointed for their service.

Been here about 5 times and they always disappoint. I'm done giving the chances. They always mess up your order. One time the party ordered food and they forgot my friends food and tried to make him a plate last minute while everyone was eating. The consistency of the food taste is not always the same either. The lollipop chicken was different between when I first went and then when I went again months later. Sometimes the food comes out cold smh. Even when you aren't busy the wait is a while for the food and they always mess up what you order. Save yourself time and money. But hey if you like mediocre, cold, late, inconsistent food, incorrect food then by all means this is your spot. I never write reviews but I was compelled to do it. Also terrible terrible service!

Not sure how this place got a C for cleanliness, they deserve a F. Got food with a mouthful of hair literally in all the 12 dishes we ordered. Definitely will be reporting this restaurant.

Ordered Beef Tehari for small family picnic party. Tehari felt like a day or two old and the rice became hard. My family used to like the taste and quality of their food. But they are poor in maintaining quality. Not ordering for big party again.

I visited today 10/12/20 at this restaurant when I got inside to have some food. I was waiting thinking someone will ask me or hand me the menu after 10 minutes I had to ask for the menu. Few minutes later I have placed my order . That part was good , when the food arrived they just gave me the food n plates. They didn’t give me any silverware. How I suppose to eat my food I don’t get it. So I asked for silverware and at the end I had to ask them for water . I was shock to see there rating which was 3.9 star . I’m like how by far the worse service so for in 2020.

Whenever I'm visit my friend in NYC, we come here. Good bengali breakfast, and food for lunch and dinner. And my suggestions to anybody isn't bengali: Have a cup of tea after you are done with your meal here. May be a cigarette if that's your things and chat.Isn't that the authentic bengali way to do it?
Horrible food taste...It’s okay to try Briyani but everything else is garbage!!! I would never come back here.

This review is after 48 hours later, I found some hair in my biryani and didn’t think twice and just continued to eat(worst mistake). Since then I’ve had nonstop diarrhea and it is not getting any better, the owner needs to fix his sanitary situation in the store or the city needs to close down the place. You might not catch corona here but you will definitely catch diarrhea ?????????

Khalil biriyani house is really awesome place for Bangali food not Indian food. They have the most delicious Shingara, Shonucha, Borhani, Kacchi, Tehari, ?everything means everything is too good but don’t buy their Mishti ?Their Chainise door are also pretty good.
