This establishment doesn’t have a real care and concern for the food that is there. It sits all day. The rice is always hard, and they charge you top dollar. For this to be the only Jamaican Restaurant in the area, they need to step it up.

The $4 beef patty was not hot it was Luke warm, the curry Goat I ordered was no good. So both things I ordered I wasted my money, the beef patty taste like it was put in the microwave and reheat it was just disgusting.

Not really the type of place you sit in and dine at , but they have those hard seats inside if you choose to. The food is mediocre. They need to spend more time stirring it up because I've gone in this place at least 5x & EVERY SINGLE TIME, THE PASTA LOOKS DISGUSTING!!! IT LOOKS DRIER THAN THE SAHARA!! Such disrespect to the pastas.... I've NEVER had salmon and rice where every other bite. I had to spit out bones that I almost choked on...SMFH?... The shrimp was either overcooked or too soft and mushy, which is not consistent considering it's all in the same pan. The Mac & cheese is underseasoned, bland & dry. Idk if there was really anything supergood here except the service with the ladies is exceptional. They are very sweet & friendly, but I'm sorry guys the food is ridiculously overpriced for what your getting. Nor worth it at all...

The lady's are ridiculously slow, plus they over charge for food that is cold & a bland. The food only looks good on display. It really amazes me how I ordered Stew peas $18. & Oxtails $24.They have another location, that is further up in the Bronx. Which is much better in every aspect. You would think that this one would be even better, because the owner actually ? be in this location.

Rasta pasta is supposed to be creamy and perfectly spiced and pieces of chicken. What I got was dried pieces of pasta mixed with all sizes of bones because they couldn’t bother. The pasta looked destroyed and I couldn’t enjoy eating it without biting into pieces of chicken bones and skin. I also ordered bbq chicken but was called bc they didn’t have any, so I said ok to the jerk chicken yet the white rice I ordered, was changed without asking to rice and peas. This isn’t the first time the PRICE doesn’t match QUALITY. It’s the only place in the blocks radius that sells hot food but I’m not spending a dime in there anymore. You don’t know what you’ll get, will it be fresh or have sat there? You take a gamble when ordering. I spent 60$ for what? the size plates are too pricey for what you get. The only saving grace is that we crave jerk chicken and there are no other options for that, yet.

Surprised about previous negative reviews! However, I've never been there in person, so I really can't speak about service or ambiance. I've only ordered for delivery and everything received has been great. I love the oxtail, rice and peas! The oxtail is super flavorful and falls off the bone as it should! That's my go to meal. The breakfast items, such as the waffles and pancakes are also amazing with the different varieties of toppings and flavors! Even the desserts are good and fun to eat. Sometimes I order just for the desserts--funnel cake and fried peanut butter and jelly!
