This place is Puerto Rico, the food, staff and atmosphere was "chevere" the music was on point. I enjoyed my meal "mofongo" and the experience.Vegetarian options: You can request an order and they will accomodate a patron.

Food was good not worth the pricey tag that comes along with it. Have to wait a bit for the food to come out, nice decor and music. Staff was courteous and attentiveParking: Had to park pretty far on the street

Been here before and the food was great. This time around it was disappointing. Ordered the stuffed chicken breast and it was not cooked thoroughly, the bartender was also the waitress and host. The restaurant looks like it could use some TLC.

My boyfriend got up to kill 5 roaches that were crawling on the back of my seat (against the wall) waiter moved our seat to the front and gave us a free drink..We now call this place the cucaracheros..

Sad because years ago it was a true boriqua eatery however very disappointing visiting in the new year 2024. I visited with my 2 daughters and it was a huge F:( From "REORDERING 1 DRINK TWICE, TO the pork chops not properly cooked as well as the overpriced skirt Steak burnt no taste Overpriced for What You Literally receive. It was simply an experience that forbade me from ever visiting.

This is my third time here. I kept coming saying ok let me try one more time. Unfortunately I just can't go there again. I asked for Mofongo de Churrasco. I get a piece of meat with a tiny piece of Mofongo on the side. I almost cry when I saw my plate. If I wanted Churrasco with a side I would had ordered that. I expected better from the cook but unfortunately they are not Boricua. Mofongo de Churrasco is a good size of Mofongo and in the middle of it pieces of Churrasco etc, even integrated etc would had been great. Also the flavor of it all was horrible. This was more like a cheap skirt steak. My cousin had bistec encebollado. Was bad as well. Was sooo thin n cheap flavor. Looked more like a sandwich steak. The appetizer of tostones with ropa vieja, omg baaad. The ropa vieja was flavorless tick and rubbery making the tostones sooo saggy and wet. Ugh im just so disappointed. Is embarrassing at the same time going to eat "Boricua" food and being the opposite. The server that heard my complaint told me to give them one more chance. I just cant ???

The chicken chunks were good and seasoned 8/10The rice was 4/10The beans were lowkey hard 4/10The tostones 7/10The pastelitos had no flavor and on top of that they serve it to you with duck sauce. lol like why is there duck sauce. And guess what, the duck sauce didn’t taste like anything. 2/10Go to a Caridad instead of this. Keeping it a band.

We were a party of four having dinner at La Cocina Boriqua this past Saturday evening. Everything, and I mean everything, was delicious. Our main entrees were arroz con pollo, ropa vieja, pork mofongo, and the salmon entree and everything was so tasty. The arroz con pollo could probably feed four people because the portion was so big. If you go, you must have the flan and tres leches cake for dessert. Just thinking about the cake makes me want another piece right now. The drinks were also on point. Even though the bartender was taking orders and making drinks by herself, the service was never lacking and she made sure we had everything we needed. We had a Groupon but it is worth it even if you don't have a Groupon.
